I hate to leave a negative comment, when I absolutely LOVE your work, but you have a small typo in the patriotic word art - you have "at the flag goes by" instead of "as the flag goes by."

ReplyDeleteI always hate it when I'm at home alone. I never quite get used to it. I've found that staying up and watching movies or scrapping until bleary eyed helps me get through it!

I watch those sappy movies (at least if he's gone he can't call me a sap!!), that way I am good and beat when I go to bed-so it helps me forget thar he's not there! You are a great woman for being able to be all by yourself with the kids. Some days I have a hard time while my husband is at work during the day because I miss him. But I know that your love is strong enough to hold you for a week or so! :) Plus, the kids will give lots of loves and kisses I'm sure! Thank you for all you do! I love all the things you do for and share with us. I can't wait to take part in your challenge this week. I'll get it up as soon as I can.

ReplyDeleteGood luck alone with the kids - I know what it's like - first it was shift work, then it was out-of-town. Usually only 3 days or so, but it has been as much as 36 days (and who's counting? - lol)

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to send you support for being all by yourself for a week. My husband travels for work every week so he's gone monday-thursday every week. We have 3 kids so I am constantly going. So have a wonderful 4th and he'll be back before you know it.
