So, the abbreviated version. I slept in till almost 8:30am, the got the kids breakfast, then lounged around for the morning. I took a shower, saw Captain America when he came home from work at almost 9:30am, put him to bed, read my book for a while, helped kids get morning snack, cleaned a little (very little...), made lunch, and got ready to take the kids on a Cub Scout Field Trip.
We went to the El Paso Museum of Archeology. It was a GREAT field trip. The dude doing it was fantastic with kids. I got a WHOLE ton of photos, but am too tired to link it up. We left the house at around 12:10pm, and got home at 2:30ish. It was a nice field trip. Maddie and her girls came too.
Once home, we put a movie on for the kids, and I dozed a bit. Captain America woke up at around 3 or 4pm, and hung with me and the kids. I fixed dinner for them, and we made cupcakes for dessert.
At 5:30pm, Captain America and I left for our date. We went to Golden Corral on the West side, and it was NASTY this time. I think because I liked it SO well last time, it got built up a lot more than it should have in my head. Not to worry, not gonna happen again - hehehe. I ate what was on my menu plan, and was pleasantly full when I was done. Not gorged. That's never good.
We drove to the outlet mall, and looked around at all the shops. Nike, Wilsons Leather, New Balance, and The Jewelry Box, to name a few. And we even bumped into Hilary and Paul in the Jewelry Box. What a coincidence! We chatted for a few minutes, then went our separate ways. I found a few new BIG rings to get, and a bracelet. I'm SO glad Maddie introduced me to the joy of BIG rings - ha!
Here's us goofing off at the Nike Outlet store :)
We drove across town, stopping at Circle K for a drink (diet dr pepper), then went to see The A-Team at the cheap theater. Captain America LOVE it. I thought it was good, the parts I saw. I kept falling asleep. Not because it was bad, but because I was sleepy. The parts I saw seemed very good - hehe.
We got home at around midnight. Now I'm sleepy. Let me see if I can get a few pics on here at least, then maybe I'll add the rest later tomorrow :)
