Beautiful Dreamer

Morning, all :) How was your Sabbath? Mine? Pretty good, considering how the past few have gone. I woke up at 7:30am, and showered and got all ready. Miracle, I know. And the kids all got ready and showered/bathed and dressed for church, no complaints. And ate breakfast, found coloring stuff, and we headed out the door to church.

And sacrament passed without any major incident, for the first time in WEEKS! Thank goodness. Well, there was that time when Jim was bugging the crap out of Jake and Jake couldn't take it any longer and he slapped Jim, but just that one little thing. hehe. And then the kids all went off to classes, and I had 2 hours to myself. Sweet!

Half way through the 2nd hour, Charlotte found me and asked me to sit with her little 4 year old girl, Ellie. She said that it's been a while since she was at church, and Ellie was forgetting how to sit quietly. So I came in and held her on my lap. That child is a HOOT!

First off, she looks at me, and says "You're breath stinks. You should have brushed your teeth". ROFL! I did a little smell check (you know how you cup your hand over your mouth and nose and check), and it all smelled fine to me... Maybe I was just talking too close to her face and it was hot? Anyway, it was silly.

Then, she goes on to inform me that she's wearing Panties, and do I wanna see? Um, no, I'm good, but it's glad that you're wearing panties, my dear. hehe. And it just went on from there. She said the first thing that popped into her mind the rest of the 30 minutes of sharing time/singing time. And I was entertained. ROFL!

She wanted to try on my glasses, so I snapped a quick picture.

And the little girl in front of her, Kenny, wanted me to take her picture, also. ROFL!
And then it was time for Relief Society. But not before I finished off a DDP... hehe.
Relief Societ was WONDERFUL. It's been SO long since I was able to go. Because of sick people in my family and subbing in primary. We studied the song, "Where Can I Turn for Peace". One of my VERY favorite hymns. And then they had a testimony meeting. It was really nice.

And then we loaded up, and headed home. And I snapped a quick photo of each child before we left.

My homemade Scentsy car warmer. ROFL! ($0.50 at Walmart)
We had lunch and changed out of Sunday clothes when we got home, watched some Dr Who, then I took a nap. And told the kids that people who had chores done and their rooms cleaned could watch TV with me when I woke up.

And yeah, it kinda worked. By 3:30pm, I was woken up with fighting. Freakin kids. hehe. I could have used a few more minutes. Anyway, I came out, and helped people clean for a little bit. Well, told them where to focus their attention, really. The house was mostly clean from yesterday, but their rooms were trashed.

Eme was the first done, and she and I watched some TV together. Then Jake and Tom joined me. Jim and Joe had a LONG way to go.

And around 4:30pm, Terra texted saying that her perm didn't turn out so well, so I went over to "console" her. Yeah, I was looking for an excuse to escape for a few minutes. hehe. I told the little boys to have the room clean when I got home.

And we decided to speed watch the Royal Wedding, because I don't have cable, and don't read/follow the news. I'd heard about it on Facebook, but that's it.

She'd DVR'd it, so we skipped all the long parts, and just watched the good part. And the hats were AWESOME! Funny, yes, but AMAZING! So, we decided that we needed a Royal Hat Party. And where better to do it then Olive Garden? hehe.

Here's me snuggling with one of the twins. Love those girls :)
It didn't take long to Speed Watch the royal wedding, then I was back home. Jake and Tom got invited over to the neighbor kids house for dinner/birthday cake, so I let them go. They were gone from 6pm to 9pm. Not bad. hehe.

The little kids finished cleaning their rooms, and we had dinner and watched some Phineas and Ferb. Very relaxing, low keyed Sunday.

I put the little kids to bed at bedtime, and worked on some designing projects for a bit. And made a COOL invite for our hat party. hehe.

Now I have a reason to make a trip to Savers/Goodwill. I need a hat. Then a trip to Hobby Lobby for accessory crap stuff! I'm gonna make a big hat/fascinator! So excited :)

Tomorrow, some of the girls and I are going to meet for lunch at Olive Garden (not to be confused with our lunch next week there - hehe). And Jim has practice for T-ball that evening. Should be a great day :)
