Thanks for Sharing

Hey you guys :) How goes it? Today was actually a pretty good day.

I wanted to show you the new nails that I did last night. I was totally up to midnight watching TV and putting these things on. SO freakin' cool! I absolutely love them. I wanna see how long I can keep them on. I'm a picker, you know...

Captain America Skyped me this morning, and I ended up typing to him for WAY too long. But I was enjoying it. Unfortunately, I didn't get out of bed until 8:15am. So yeah, we were TOTALLY rushing. I looked lovely, let me tell you. hehe.

I threw on some clothes, got the kids ready super quick, and we headed out. Less complaints from Jake than normal, thank goodness!

Jim was acting super sleepy, so I thought that maybe he wasn't feeling well. And he fell asleep in Sacrament meeting, so I'm pretty sure he wasn't feeling well... Isn't he cute, though...

After Sacrament meeting, I sent the kids off to class, and chatted with one of the members of the Bishopric for a bit. Jim was sleeping on my lap, so I wasn't going anywhere. hehe. He asked how we were doing, and I told him. Ha! I think he was expecting a "we're doing good!", but he got a "we're hanging in there, mostly". hehe. He came to chat and find out more details.

I told him about the police, and the autism, and the bruise, and the power, and the keys, and all that crap. And yeah, I think we was worried. He said that he wanted to take our problems to the bishopric meeting, and discuss ways to help us, and asked if that was ok. Definitely. I'll take all the help I can get. I was a little teary, but not too bad. I was sitting in a room full of people getting ready for sunday school, after all. hehe. Have to keep some composure...

About 1/2 way through Sunday School, Jim woke up. And wanted to know if Sacrament was almost over. hehe. I told him it was over, and asked if he wanted to go to class. He did. So I walked him to primary. And he refused to go in there. So we hung in the hall for the rest of church. Poor Jim. Next time will be better.

I did get to chat with all of my friends, though, so that was good. Charlotte and I enjoyed a caffenated soda outside, and Lesa and I chatted for a bit. It was enjoyable for me, even if I didn't get to go to class. hehe :) Jim just sat against the wall and hung out most of the time. It's not like him to not wanna go to class and be social...

We headed home after church, and had lunch. And Captain America was on Skype. I tried my best to talk with him, but the internet kept cutting out. It was SO frustrating. We ended up typing to each other, and yeah, it still was being buggy. He finally just went to bed. Hmpf. Not good :( I wanted to chat longer.

The kids and I watched some Doctor Who, then I sent them out to play and do their chores, and I took a nap. But didn't get a very long one. Only till about 3 or so. I needed more. hehe. Anyway, I came out, and hung with the kids for a bit, and around 3:30pm, the bishop called and asked if he and another brother could come over and visit our family, and see how we were doing.

I was very happy to have them over, but mortified that my house was messy. We spent the next 20 minutes speed cleaning the front rooms. And yeah, it's amazing how good it looked after 20 minutes. hehe.

They stayed for about an hour. It was a very nice visit. The kids seemed to enjoy having "men" in the house. hehe. It'd been a while. Such nice guys. I got a Priesthood Blessing before they left, and the bishop said that he'd talk with me more on Wednesday night about what the ward can do to help out with Jacob. They didn't want me to have to live in "fear" of him. I felt the same way... It's not fun having to leave the house or lock myself in a bedroom to feel safe...

After they left, I taught Tom how to work the outdoor grill (the one Leslie gave us), and he grilled us up some Hot Dogs. He's SO awesome :) And now he knows how to operate it! Because, you know, grilling is a Man's job. ROFL!

After dinner, I left the kids watching cartoons, and Eme and I went to visit Terra. We stayed and chatted for about an hour, then headed home. And spent the rest of the evening playing and hanging out. It really was an enjoyable day. No big blow ups. No massive fights. No one got injured.

We put the little kids to bed, and the big kids and I watched an episode of Chuck. It's now 8:30pm, and the episode is about over. I'm almost done blogging, and I'm gonna watch another episode or two of Flash Forward. I'll be sad when it's over. hehe ;)

Oh yeah, we measured the kids again today and recorded it on the bookshelf. And look. Jake is now taller than me. Sigh. hehe.
