So.... Saturday... Yeah, it was relaxing... That's really all I can say... I slept in till 9am. I got up, took my meds, had breakfast, and laid around for a bit more. The kids were playing and watching TV. And Jake and Tom were working on and off on the Pool. They were each earning $20 for cleaning it out.
I chatted with Captain America on Skype for about an hour or so. So that was a good part of the day :) I watched some Prison Break. And I napped some. And I had some lunch. And I watched some more Prison Break. And I napped some more. And yeah, that was about it. Ha!
At 4:30pm, I drove on over to Sonic for a Happy Hour drink, and then at 5pm, all the kids and I went to Game Stop. Tom bought a used PS2 with his babysitting money. Jake got a Wii game, Joe got a Wii game with his b-day money, and I got some PS2 games and a controller. And we headed back home.
We dropped our stuff off at home, and headed on over to the bowling alley for the bowling party. There were a TON of people who'd signed up for it this time. I kinda liked it better when it was just a tiny group. I know, it sounds all snobish of me... hehe.
Terra and I hung out with our kids, and they ate pizza and cake. We had club sandwiches and diet sodas. It was pretty fun hanging out and chatting. Well, it would have been fun minus all the people and the loud chaoticness.
About 45 minutes into it, the kids bowled a game, and I helped out the ladies in charge with a flag craft project. They took a queen sized sheet, and drew a flag on it with fabric paint. The kids were gonna use red fabric paint for the red stripes using hand prints. Kinda clever, I thought. Well, they wanted me to draw the stripes. Cause I was crafty. Ha! I'm not the precise kinda crafty. Just ask Captain America. hehe.
I got it done, but it wasn't straight lined. But it was done! We put our hand prints on it, and out the door we went. I was ready to get home. I was tired. I don't know why I was tired, but I was tired. hehe. I'll blame it on the meds!
We got home at 7:30pm, and I told the kids that they could play electronics until 9pm. Jake and Joe are on the Wii, Tom is on the PS2, Jim is on the Gamecube, Eme is on a laptop, I'm watching Netflix on a computer and blogging on another. We're a bunch of geeks, you know. hehe. I'm gonna get off of this, and watch another episode of Prison Break.
Any suggestions for the tiredness and "loopiness" associated with Topomax? I must say, though, it's REALLY good at preventing migraines! I haven't had one since I started taking it!
