Dark Side

Thought I'd share a few pics today :) Here Jake and Tom at the Cub Scout Meeting this past Wednesday, when we made Volcanos. They were SO cool :)

And, Jimmy and I :)

OK, this picture has a story. So, our friends from Chicago, who moved to Tennessee, started selling this Juice stuff. Yeah, I know. Sounds like a real great story so far - hehehe. Anyway, they said that they'd send us some when we got to our new house, and it came yesterday. It's supposed to be this "super drink" kinda stuff. Give you lost of energy or something. Yeah, it came with a DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. The bottle said to drink 1 oz two times a day. So, I had some this morning.

Don't know if it had to do with the juice or not, but I got into a SUPER cleaning/reorganizing mode (well, more reorganizing - hehehe). I decided that the weird closet/non-room off of my living room would be acceptable for a computer room. So, I cleared it out of all the junk that was in there, got the computer stuff ready to move. Then, I realized that there was no outlets in the room, and no cable box (to hook the internet up). Well, I could run an extension cord out the door, and 1 foot to the outlet. That part was an easy fix.

Then, I could run our SUPER long cable from clear on the other side of the room, to the little non-room (now to be referred to as the computer room - LOL!). I dug out the ladder from the garage, and climbed up it, to run the cable along the ridge in the ceiling/wall. Since the cord was white, it was disguised very nicely.

So, i got the computer moved into it's new room, and everything hooked up, and the internet wouldn't work. Dang! Now what??? I tried several times at pluging things in, and unhooking, and resetting thing, but with no luck. The cable was bad. Yep, the one I just braved the ladder to get perfectly in place.

So, Jimmy and I loaded up in the truck and headed out to ... yup ... Wal-Mart. Did you know that they have everything you could ever need?? ROFL!!! So, I got some groceries while I was at it, and the cable. Then, back home to re-string the new cable, and voila! Internet access.

Then, I rearranged my living room. I put the TV and videos in the computer nook, and moved the furniture around. I thought it looked pretty good :)

About 30 minutes before the kids got home from school, the repair guy came to fix the ice maker in the door of our fridge. It was missing a piece. SO, now we have ice at our fingertips. I seriously think it's my kids' favorite part of the house. Really. I'm not exaggerating. They LOVE it. The just get cups of ice to chew. I guess at least it's not chips and cookies, right?

Captain America called last night, and we got to chat on the webcam for a little while. Even though he's not here, it was good to see his face. Boy, do I miss that man...... Even when he's driving me crazy (I KNOW you know what I mean - how do men do that? LOL!) Less than a month to go :)

This WordArt request is from Kelly. Her 3rd grader is going to an elementary school dance with the boy down the street, and her 5th grade son pulled the boy aside, and told him he'd "gone over to the dark side" because he was taking a girl to the dance - ROFL!!! Isn't that hysterical :) Typical boy - LOL!

April 24th Fresh Fruit Friday

Dang! I did it again - I keep forgetting to post my new stuff on Friday morning. One of these days......

Oh yeah, but first! (hehehe, one of these days I'll work on the scatterbraininess (is that even a word??)) Several of you have asked about the song in my video. When I first found it online, I thought it was from Twilight. Well, it was named Edwards song on the place I found it. I knew it wasn't Bella's song from Twilight, because I own the soundtrack album. They're clearly different. I thought maybe it was from the score. But it's not. It got me curious. SO, after searching the internet for about 45 minutes, I finally found some info about this GORGEOUS piece of piano music.

Yiruma
(born February 15, 1978, Seoul, Korea) is a South Korean piano music composer. Yiruma started to learn the piano at home in Korea at the age of 5. In 1988 he moved to England. He graduated from Purcell Specialist Music School (London) in July 1997, then from King's College London in June 2000.

His composition 'River Flows in You' (from the album "First Love" 2001) was considered for "Bella's Lullaby" in the movie Twilight (the book written by Stephenie Meyer), but, in the end, Carter Burwell composed another song, which became "Bella's Lullaby". SO, the real name of the piece is 'River Flows in You' and is not affiliated with Twilight. But it could have been. And, in my opinion, should have been. It's SO beautiful. Anyhow, now you know :) hehehe.

Anyway, here's my new stuff this week. Hope you like it! I have the 2 WordArt packs from my little video presentation thingy (I took out all references to Birthdays and made them gender neutral). I also have some Bride WordArt, some Spring WordArt, and some more Attitude WordArt. Click HERE to go to my store, and remember, all my new stuff is 20% off the first week (that makes it only $2.00 a pack!)

Happiness is Homemade

My plan for yesterday was to stay in my jammies all day long. You've just gotta do that every once in a while. Oh, so you caught me. It's more often than that - hehehehe. Anyway, I had spent the morning designing, only left my phone for about 10 minutes to go and give the neighbor lady some of our boxes (she's moving, and I don't need them), and when I came back, there was new voicemail on my phone.

Some of the ladies at church do "Game Day" every other Thursday at noon. It was an invite to go and play. What the heck! I decided to go. I need to get out there and socialize more. There were 8 moms (well, 7 younger moms and a mom of a mom) and WAY too many little kids to count. I think I was the only one with 1. Ha! That's a change for me :)

I did have fun, though. I'm pretty shy, so the games were a bit uncomfortable for me, but no one knew - hehehe. I've learned to play off shy and uncomfortable fairly well :) I'm definitely gonna go back next time. It's good to break out of your little shell, or your comfort zone. And, the girls all seemed really nice. AND, it was only 5 blocks from my house. Can't beat that :)

The kids and I watched some Doctor Who today after school. I just LOVE that show. I'm sad that David Tennent is leaving the show in 2010. I LOVED him as the Doctor. We'll see how this new guys does. We watched most of season 3. Blink is still my favorite from that season. So scary :)

After dinner and bedtime for the little kids, the big kids and I stayed up and watched Harpers Island again. It's become our Thursday routine. Hehehehe. They wanted me to walk them up the stairs and tuck them in. They SAID that it didn't scare them, but I think it did - LOL! At least no one had to come and sit next to me during it this time - ROFL!

I didn't really feel like searching for a request last night (yes, lazy much!), so the WordArt from today is just a fast and fun one that I found to give you all. :)

I Feel So Blessed

We had Cub Scouts last night. You know, I LOVE the Cub Scout program, but dang it's hard to run a Cub Scout den meeting with 3 extra little kids. Jimmy just wanted to run around the whole time, and Joe and Eme were fighting and playing slap tag the whole time. OMGosh! Captain America, are you almost done with trainings???? COME HOME :) I feel better now :) Sometimes you gotta just get that out - hehehe.

For Cub Scouts, we made dinasour finger puppets (scary ones - hehehe), played "Ice Age" relay race, did an achievement, and made volcanos. They kids REALLY liked that one. We took a paper plate, and taped a small dixie cup to it. Then, we covered the whole thing with aluminum foil. We cut a hole in the foil to expose the opening in the cup, and taped that part down. Then, we put in 2 tbsp of baking soda and 2 tbsp of water. We mixed it well, then poured in 2 tbsp of vinegar. The boys thought it was AWESOME when it bubbled and "erupted". Heck, I thought it was cool - hehehe.

When we were all finished, we all smelled like Easter Eggs, but we all had fun. But I was SURE ready to be home when we got back. I hate having to be the yelling mom. But I guess that's better than the mom with kids that get run over. THAT wouldn't be good at all!

So, after listening to the Twilight Soundtrack SO much over the past few weeks, I've really come to like Paramore. They sing tracks 2 and 8. So, I got a couple of their albums. OK, so they only have 2 (hehehe), but I got them both. LOVE em! I'm usually not big on girl singers, but this chick ROCKS! Anyway, thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who needs something new to listen to :) Here's a few of their music videos: Crush Misery Business Anyway, just thought I'd show you guys what I've been listening to lately :) I like it :) I'm sure Captain Americawill love it too, when he gets home (nah, he won't - ROFL!!!)

Here's the 3rd and final part of my "movie" WordArt that I'm giving away :) And look for the other 8 WordArts to come out on Friday in my store :) Click on the links below to go to my accounts to download the PNG file, and leaves some love if you like my work. Thanks!

Happy Things

Jimmy and I went to playgroup yesterday morning, and it was FABULOUS weather. I'm coming to see that almost EVERYDAY in El Paso is FABULOUS weather! Woohoo! 88 degrees and crystal clear blue sky. Gorgeous! I'm hoping I got some good color on my face. We'll see today.
This was right before we left. How can you tell? Jim is putting his shoes back on - he's like his momma and only wears shoes when its required :)

run, Jim, run!
oops, extreme closeup - hehehe
what a gorgeous view, eh?

So, since Captain America is gone, I figured that his birthday would pass mostly unnoticed. Then, I decided that it didn't have to be like that. So, Jimmy and I headed out to the store to buy a cake mix and some ice cream, and we're gonna have a b-day party for Captain America, even though he's not here. I printed out little pictures of him in his army gear, and we fake laminated them, and taped them to toothpicks. Then, I frosted the carrot cake cupcakes, and sprinkled green sprinkles on them. Add a little parsley to look like bushes (no bushes to spare in the desert), and Captain Americas picture, and we have a BEAUTIFUL cupcake - hhehehe.

I have my own personal army in my fridge - ROFL!!!

When the kids got home from school, they were SO excited about Dad's party. The little neighbor girl (can't for the life of me remember her name, though) came to play with Eme, and was asking about the cake and the party. She seemed to think we were all a bit crazy - hehehe. One of my kids wondered what Captain America would be doing on his birthday night, since he couldn't come to his own party. The neighbor girl said "Well, he'll probably go out with some buddies and drink beer".

My kids just looked at her like she had 2 heads. "My dad doesn't drink beer" they all said. I was SO proud of them - hehehe. Nope, no beer for Captain America. LOL! And I thought it was even funnier when Eme chimmed in as said "He only drinks Root Beer." LOL!

We even sent some cupcakes over to the neighbors house. What am I possible gonna do with 24 carrot cake with cream cheese frosting cupcakes in my fridge. It's not gonna be a pretty picture. So, I was glad when she took 6 home to her family. Only about 10 left to get rid of.

We also played Uno for his party. Jimmy and I found Kung Foo Panda Uno at Wal-Mart when we were there. It had fun moments, but Eme and Tom just DON'T like losing. Man, it's bad. Tears, and throwing cards down. Dude, it's just a game. Come one. Geesh. I made them finish it out, though. We played 3 games. Jacob won the 1st hand, Tom won the 2nd, and he also won the 3rd. I came in 2nd to last twice, and 2nd place once. I don't really care if I win, though. Not when I'm playing my hand, and 2 other peoples hand (in essence). It kinda takes away the competitiveness of it all - hehehe. One of these days......

AND, I got to talk to him on the phone for about 30 minutes too! We were only mildly interrupted by children. At one point, Joe came home. Yeah, I didn't really know he was gone. I thought he was in the front yard. He and another kid had gone across the street, and were playing in a sprinkler in a HUGE common grassy area. Nice. I need to keep better tabs on my kids, I guess. It's hard, though, when Captain America calls, cause I SO wanna talk with him. Sigh. Next time I'll make sure my phone is charged so I'm not stuck attached to the wall. How did we EVER survive before phones that moved around with us????

Here's the 2nd part of 3 from my little b-day video I made for my sweetheart yesterday. But, you'll have to go to the orchard to pick it up :) Click HERE to go to scraporchard's gallery to grab the zip file, and remember, you need to be signed into the gallery in order to get the download. And, as always, leave some love if you like my work :) Thanks, girls!

Perfect Man for Me

Yesterday was a productive day. Jimmy and I went to the post office to pick up our mailbox key, and to the commissary to go grocery shopping. We were out of milk, and almost out of bread. Kinda need those two things in a house with 5 kids - hehehe.

We cleaned up the living room/dining room area, swept, and spot mopped. It really looked nice. Sure, it got messy fast, but it WAS nice for a few hours. And that's all that matters, right? Sometimes I think living in an empty house would be SO much easier. Less cleaning - hehehe.

I spent some time designing in the afternoon. I knew I wanted to do something special for my sweetie for his birthday. It felt good to sit down and be creative. Creativity is good :) LOL! I got to chat with my friend Maren for a little while, and with my mother-in-law too. All in all, it was a great afternoon.

Today is my best friends birthday. The man I love. The man I married 12 years ago. Unfortunately, he's away at Army trainings, and can't be with me today. So, I made his this little music video, to try and share with him how much I love him. I hope you like it, sweetheart! I truly love you!!! I hope your birthday is a great one :)

(oh yeah, and if you wanna send this little video to your man on his b-day, go for it - I'm sure he'd like it too :) I've packaged up 8 of the quotes from the "video", and they're gonna be for sale in my store soon.

But, I have 3 of them I'm giving away as freebies!!! Here's the first one. In the download, I'm including MAN and WOMAN. That way, it should be good for everyone :)

Old Age

Sunday was nice. The kids were relatively well behaved in Sacrament meeting (it's hard to keep 5 kids quite for an hour all by yourself), for which I was grateful. Jimmy wasn't even too bad. I guess it helped that we remembered paper and pencils. Last week, nothing. That wasn't fun :)

I filled in for a primary teacher who didn't show. I know how that is, looking for teachers last minute. I was glad to help. Those 5 year olds were adorable! We had fun learning about baptism, and promises, and what a "covenant" is. While they were so little, I think they understood :) It was a fun age group. All girls. 6 of them. hehehe.

After I finished reading Midnight (Twilight from Edwards perspective) last night, I decided to look online for a bit of fan fiction. They're kinda fun to read, if you can find a good one. Well, I found one that I really like. Granted, I haven't finished it yet. I may read some more after I'm done with this post. As of now, it's not too bad. I'm worried that there's gonna be inappropriateness, though. Why do people feel the need to ruin a perfectly good story. Sigh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If it turns out nice, I'll post a link to it. So far, though, so good. It supposed that when Bella meets Laurent in the woods in book 2, that he bites her, and turns into a Vampire, then leaves Forks to hide out for 80 years, and then runs into Edward. Interesting premise.

And, for all of you NOT obsessed with Twilight (or all you all obessed like me - hehehe), sorry about all the Twilight babbling. I find myself thinking about it FAR too often. hehehe.

My sweetheart called me last night. It'd been a few days since I got to chat with him. Busy, busy, busy, that boy is. He seemd in good spirits. They had a busy day planned for today, and it was seriously nasty weather there in Georgia. He was hoping that it would stop before they had to go out and do....um... yeah, I must have missed that part. Something outside that he didn't want to get all nasty in. Dang, I need to pay closer attention, I guess :)

So I'm gonna try harder on my diet this week. Really, I am this time. Last night, I ate what I should for dinner, and I felt really good all evening. It's amazing what the "right" kind of food will do for ya! I'm tired of feeling tired all the time. And drained of energy. Hopefully eating right will help. Couldn't hurt :) hehehe.

This WordArt request is from Toby. Ain't it the truth! Not that I'm in "old age", by any means, but once I hit 30, my body hasn't been the same - LOL! So, Toby, I hope you like it!!! Click on the links below to go to my accounts to download the PNG file, and leave some love if you like my work. Thanks!

Delighteth In The Scriptures

I've seen this video on a couple of different blogs recently, and watched it a few more times yesterday, and I must say, I'm LOVING it :) Again, Twilight obsessed. But the songs was in my head all day long. Sigh. You're hot and you're cold.... (hehehehe). You know what's sad. Jimmy (the 3 year old) went to the fridge today today to get an apple, and dropped it in the kitchen on accident, trying to kick it with his foot to catch it. He looked up at me and said, "Look Mom, I'm just like Edward". OK, so we are a tad more than obsessed if the 3 year old knows the movie (and parody) that well :) - ROFL!!!

Apparently the girls who made this video have other parodies that they do. The kids and I watched a few of them on youtube yesterday. They're pretty funny as Jack Sparrow. We watched the Terminator one and the Star Wars one. I'll have to go back and watch them in order one of these day - pretty funny. Very clever young women :)

I got some more organization done around the house today. And I hung curtains in Jake/Tom's room, and Jim/Joe's room. Now maybe they'll sleep in a bit - hehehe. I stayed up late on Friday night hanging my own curtains so that I could sleep in on Saturday, but the kids woke me up at 6:30am anyway. Drat. One of these days, I"ll be able to sleep.

Jake/Tom's room is now clean and clear of boxes. It looks pretty good, considering the amount of stuff they have in there - hehehe. Good thing it's a good sized room :) Jacob went to "Saturday school" to practice for the Texas State Assessment test. He was pretty excited about going even. He asked if he could go back next week. They got pizza, which could be fueling the interest - LOL! But I must say, hanging out with middle schoolers has to be more fun than hanging out with younger brothers/sister. I'm just saying....

Tom went to a b-day party for the little neighbor boy yesterday too. He was gone from 4-8ish. He had SO much fun. I'm glad that the neighbor lady invited him. It really made his day :)

The kids spent a good portion of the day playing in the backyard with the neighbor kids. It was a great day. Not too windy, not too cold, and sunny. It was just about perfect weather. Jim, Joe, and I even walked around the neighborhood to "peek' at the garage sales. We didn't stop and browse, just looked as we walked. We stopped at the park to play for a few minutes, then headed back home.

All in all, it was a nice Saturday. Nothing too stressful or major happening. Just hung out at home, and got a few things done. This homebody LOVES Saturdays like that :)

So, my sister wanted me to "WordArt" this scripture for her the other day. She was going Visiting Teaching, and wanted to put it on a handout. She said it's the Visiting Teaching message scripture for the month of April. She was gonna print it out, and attach it to a Betty Crocker Warm Delights thingy. She's so clever!

So, click on the links below to go to my acconts to download the PNG file, and leave some love if you like my work. Thanks, girls!

God Opens a Window

Well, I did get some unpacking done yesterday. I also finished off the Twilight series, and watched Twilight twice. Yes, I was doing other things while it was on, but it was ON! hehehe. Eme's room is now unpacked and wonderul. I even hung curtains. It looked fabulous :)

I unpacked my closet today, and have all my clothes back. Sure, most of them don't fit because I've been eating WAY too much, but they're there, hanging in place, and patiently waiting for me to follow my diet so they can come out and "play" again. I miss my skinny clothes (but I guess not as much as I like the food.......I'll have to work on that one......)

So, I'm cheap. I'll just admit it. I hate spending money on things. Especially hair cuts. I'll get my hair cut, then rather than go back, when it starts to grow out, I'll just come up with a new hairstyle. Seriously. So, I've been wearing it in a bandana recently, because I haven't taken the time to fix it. Yes, I'm lazy too - ROFL!!! WELL, yesterday, I actually showered, fixed my hair, put on make up, and put on decent clothes. Yes, that is blog worthy!

Anway, when the big kids got home from school, they were SO impressed. "Wow, Mom!" they said. "Your hair is SO pretty!". OK, kids. Now your gonna give me a complex. So was it REALLY that bad before, that you're commenting on how good it is now - hehehe. I took a pic of the "new" hair (well, really just new style, since I didn't get it cut (but I did color it - yeah, started graying when I was 21)). What do ya think???

So I hear that Ft. Bliss is having a post wide garage sale today. I think I"ll wander my neighborhood and see if I can find any good deals. I love garage sales, but not necessarily taking small children to them. We'll see how brave I'm feeling.

Jacob is going to a school thing today at 9, and Tom was invited to a neighbor kids' b-day party at 4. I guess that means I'm gonna have to come up with some sort of present between now and then. Sigh.

You know, sometimes when I post my WordArt on here, it's SUPER tiny, and hard to read. Well, today is NOT that day - hehehe. Look how HUGE it is! Oh well, the better to read, I guess :) This wordArt request is from Joyce. And to the rest of you with requests out there, I'm sorry it's taken so long. I'm still getting set up, after having moved so many times this year. This is place #3 in 2009 to have lived. Sigh. Crazy times :)

So Eme woke up yesterday feeling sick. I think she had a fever, and needed her inhalor. Unfortunately, it was out. So, I called the Army clinic, and their next appointment as on the 24th. Well, that was WAY too far off. They said either call Dial a Nurse and ask about options, or go to the ER. Well, I know that it wasn't an emergency, so I didn't need the ER, so I called the Dail A Nurse.

She got Eme all set up with a non-army urgent care visit, and after we got the other kids off to school, we headed off to urgent care. She got a perscription for Alburterol, and some perscription cough syrup, and an antibiotic. She had a nasty red throat, but no white spots. But, because of her bout with Post Strep Reactive Arthritis, they gave her an antibiotic. Better safe than sorry.

We headed off to Wal-Mart to get the perscriptions filled. We decided to go to the Wal-Mart across town where we used to live, so that we could check and see if the Easter Bunny pics were in. But first, to the pharmacy. 1 hour wait. Holy crap! That was a long time to kill. So, we got our Easter pictures, and walked around for a bit, and paid, and it was still only 30 minutes. So, we drove to the kids' old school, and dropped off Jacobs cello that he had borrowed. Then, back to Wal-Mart.

Oh yeah, here's the Easter Bunny Pictures. That's one of the many things that I LOVE about Wal-Mart. Near some holidays, their photo department takes pictures of your kids, for free, and you just come back in and look through the giant stack of photos they've developed, and take yours. Not too bad, for free :) Except that Joe wanted NOTHING to do with the giant, freaky, talking rabbit. Honestly, can't say that I blame the poor kid.

It had been 1 hour 2 minutes, so we went back to the pharmacy. I waited in line (you KNOW that the line at the pharmacy is ALWAYS packed), and when we got to the front, she said that we needed to go back and talk to the "drop off" window again. Dang. So, we head back over, and the girl at the window said that it would be a few more minutes.

So, since I could wait for a few more minutes, we stood near the front, with the pharmacy people in sight. Jimmy wasn't having it. He cried, and tired to run away, and screamed. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. 15 minutes later, and we had our perscriptions. I wasn't happy. Poor Jim. He was good for SO long, and that last 15 minutes was his unhinging. That wasn't nice of the pharmacy people, to make us wait (ok, so I know that sometimes things happen, but it didn't seem nice at the time :).

After getting a quick bite to eat (I really need to stop being out and about during the day), we headed back to Eme's school. She was feeling much better after getting some medicine in her system (but mostly after getting her inhalor - must not be fun to not breath deeply). She didn't want to miss school. She's SO her mother's child - hehehe. I hated to miss school too. I was afraid I'd miss something important. I know, I was a nerd. I admit it :)

The cafeteria lady had been trying to get ahold of me all week, and I finally stopped by to see her. I wasn't sure what she wanted to talk to me about, but didn't really feel like confrontation. hehehe. So, I went and talked with her. She just wanted to let me know that we'd been approved for free lunches, and that she wanted to give my check for 3 kids, 5 days of lunches back, and to have me write one for just 1 day worth of lunches. OK, so that was GOOD news. 4 dollars instead of 25. Much nicer. But even better, free lunches for the rest of the school year. That'll help.

When we finally got home, Jimmy and I spent the rest of the afternoon organizing his room. We got all of the boxes unpacked, and it organized how I liked it. He seemed SO excited to get his toys back. Cute little thing.

I also went through Jake and Tom's room, and organized a little bit. I got some of the bigger boxes unpacked (the clothes), and we can get in the closet again. Sure, their beds are full of junk, but the closet is accessible (ROFL!!!). I guess it's their responsibility to get their rooms cleaned :)

After the big kids got home, we did homework, had dinner, and relaxed for a while. We watched Survivor together, then I chatted with Captain America for a few minutes, and the after the little kids went to bed, the big kids and I watched Harpers Island. I sure do love a good scary movie/story. And I only had to have the boys cover their heads with their blankets once, or was that twice.

Thank goodness today is Friday. I'm looking forward to sleeping in on Saturday. I just need to make sure that I get my curtains hung in my room today, so that I don't automatically wake up at the crack of dawn - LOL!

I figured that since I had SO many "attitude" wordarts for sale this week, I'd make an "attitude" wordart for you all as a freebee. And, I SO fits me. hehehe. My other saying is "Just smile and nod'. ROFL! You don't even know how often I do that - hehehe.

You Are The World

I had some ladies from Church (Relief Society presidency) come and visit me yesterday. It was nice having people over :) It'd been a while since I had "grown-up" interaction - hehehe. After they left, Jimmy and I went "to town". I bought some bar stools for my kitchen, a microwave (yeah, I forgot that we left ours in Ohio when we moved - dang!), and the Twilight books.

Doesn't sound like that big of an afternoon, but it was a TON of driving around. We left the house at about 11 am. First we drove to the post office on post to check if our mailbox keys were done (they were not) and drop off my State Taxes, then back across post, and over to Barnes and Nobles to check on Twilight books (yeah, I'm not spending $83 on 4 books - that's crazy). Then, drive some more to Wal-Mart. But they didn't have all 4 books, only 3, so across town again to the other Wal-Mart to look for book 3. 1/2 way home I realized that I forgot to pick up our pictures at Wal-Mart (dang, that means another trip). Then, drive to Big Lots to look for shower curtain stuff, then to another store near there, that has inexpensive clothes. Jacob can wear kakhi/blue slacks/short and green/white polo shirt. I found green polos at this store for $1.99 each. Not too bad, eh? And, I found shower curtains for $1.99. I like 'em.

By that time, it was 2:30. Jimmy and I got back home, and put away all of the stuff we bought. We straightened up the house a little bit, and I sat down to design. I got 4 WordArt packs designed, and packaged up. The big kids got home from school, and we just hung out for a while.

We had dinner at 5, and I'm not sure what we did next, but all of a sudden, it was 7:30, and we were missing Cub Scouts. I gathered up everyone REALLY fast, and we headed out the door. I got a little lost, but finally found where I was going - hehehe. I met a few ladies from my neighborhood even. They were REALLY cool :) I'm looking forward to making a few friends :) Friends are good. The one lady just lives right down the same street we live on. How cool is that :) hehehehe.

And next week, I'm doing Tom's den meeting for Cub Scouts. They didn't really have anything going on last night at Scouts. Of course, it could be because Tom's group and Jacob's group didn't even have a leader. I'll step up and help.

I'm really liking having a hard copy of Twilight. Now I can take it and read it outside. I think Jimmy and I will go to the park today, and I'll read, and he can play, and we'll get some outside time :) Sounds like a plan. That, and we also need to go return his cello. Sigh. I guess I'll pick up my pictures while I'm on that side of town. I think I need a list so I don't forget everything I'm supposed to do - LOL!

This WordArt request is from Kim. I think I may have done this one before, but not like this :) I like how it turned out :) Click on the links below to go to my accounts to download the PNG file, and leave some love if you like my work :)
