Well, another one bites the dust! First, Eme was sick on Thursday. Then, Jake came down with it on Saturday. Jimmy was the flu's victim on Monday. Poor Jimmy. He had a fever of 102.2, and just laid around puny and pathetic all day long. Poor baby. After his Ipbrofrin kicked in, he felt a little bit better, until it wore off, and he was "re-dosed". I did get plenty of snuggle time today, though.
I got to walk with Andrea this morning for exercise. Jake watched Jimmy, and Andrea's husband, Ryan, was home, so he watched Luke. It was nice to just walk with grown ups.
I designed for a while during the day, and watched movies with Jimmy, and helped Jake with school, and napped for a while. Really, a very relaxing day at home. I'm not feeling 100%, so I'm wondering if I'll be the next victim of the flu. I tried to take it easy. I didn't even cook dinner. Yeah, sandwich night, again. Sigh. I don't know if I'm sick or not. I'm just kinda tired. Keep your fingers crossed that I'll stay healthy. I'm babysitting in the morning, I can't afford to be sick...
OK, so this might be proof positive that I'm getting sick and that it's altered my thinking. But I thought that this was a cute WordArt. Maybe it's just me that feeds my kids cereal and milk ALL the time. For breakfast, for dinner. Whenever. Cereal and milk is the BEST food ever. Ok, maybe that's going a little bit too far, but you get the idea. Really, I can't be the only one. Can I? Oh please tell me that you do this too! Lie to me if you must - hehehe.

Bethany, I'm a mom of five as well (all boys) and you are not alone on the cereal for any meal thing.....we sometimes do breakfast for dinner too when the budget is tight....biscuits and gravy or pancakes....my kids think its cool :)
LOL -- My husband LOVES to buy cereal. We always have six to eight boxes on top of the fridge. He's all about cereal for every snack and breakfasts. I don't really eat it, but it makes him and the kids happy...who am I to argue?
I love your blog, I have one Award for you
thank for all
hugs Alex
I think I've got the only kid on the planet that dislikes PB&J and also dislikes cereal w/milk. Maybe he had way too many Cheerios as a finger food? :-) Cute word art - and hope you're just worn out, not getting ill.
I actually have some pictures of my children sitting at the counter eating cereal and milk. I am so excited to use this word art! Thank you so much!!!
I hope you don't get sick, too! Its gone around my house, my son's daycare and my work. Its everywhere this year!
Sorry, as much as I love cereal, I only allow it twice a week. We have "junk cereal day" on Wednesday and "healthy cereal day" on Sunday. The idea was for the kids to eat a more balanced, healthy meal on the other days, like oatmeal, eggs, fruit, etc. Unfortunately, they often just end up with something similar to the cereal or even worse as far as nutritional content - waffles with syrup, bagels with cream cheese, cinnamon toast. So much for the best-laid plans. :) Anyway, at least they do SOMETIMES have something like eggs, instead of cereal all the time. Plus, I don't know about you, but we'd easily go through 2-3 boxes a day if I allowed that, and that can get expensive!
So not the only one who does the Cereal and Milk thing for multiple meals! It's one of my standbys when nothing sounds good at all. My youngest DD has picked up on that too and will have it with me. Another generation successfully hooked!
By the way you have a blog award waiting for you on my blog @ http://ivorykeys74.blogspot.com
Hope you and your family feel better soon!
Ok, I have to admit. I'm a cereal and milk addict! I could eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner. :-)
