So... not much to say about today. Captain America and I spent the day in an argument. Have you ever done that? Squandered a day away in an argument? It sucks. But I know that all married couples do it. It's just unfortunate that his days here are limited, and we wasted this one fighting...
Anyway, got up at 5:25 am, and took Jake to seminary. And slept in the car. Then came back home, and got the kids ready for school. They caught the bus at 7:15am, and they now have 2 different bus stops. Our neighborhood, and the new neighborhood across the street. I think it's gonna take away a lot of problems.
I came back home, and yeah, that was the rest of the morning. Didn't do much. Captain America left to go lifting at noon ish, and I went to Albertsons with Amanda. I got some yogurt and some lettuce and some cereal. We made a pit stop at Sonic for a RT 44 on the way home, and I actually got something different than Diet Dr Pepper. I got a Diet Cherry Limeade. And it was really good!
I got home, cleaned for a little while, and then Captain America got home. Still not talking to each other. I put some chicken in the oven at 2:30. Tom got home at 3:10, and I went to get the kids from the bus at 3:45. Jake got off the bus at 4:10pm, and I had the kids do their homework and get ready for soccer. We ate at 4:45ish, and were all ready to go by 5;10pm.
We all headed up to the field as a family. We were going directly to scouts afterwords. Kari was there with Leo, so it was Kari and Captain America and I. And it was awkward. The kids LOVED soccer, and did quite well.
We finished up there, and headed out to the church. Leo came with us for Scouts. We dropped the kids off at their various activities, and Captain America and I sat on the couch at the church for a bit, then the girls pulled me into Achievement days. Since I am the assistant leader. We had a lesson about goal setting, and how it helps us to be better people when we set goals.
We were done in an hour, and I went to check on everyone else. Cub scouts was having a snack, and finishing up. Jake got done, and Tom's group didn't have a leader in town, so he was an assistant to Joe's group.
We gathered everyone up, and headed back home. And dropped Leo off at his house and picked up my crock pots that I left over there, and headed back home. I helped the boys pick out clothes for tomorrow, and put everyone to bed, and was done for the night. I grabbed my laptop, and here it is, almost 9pm. I'm drained. Hopefully this is done by tomorrow. I don't think I can handle another day like today :( Pray for me...

Great layout, Sharon! You know, I've never been in a taxi. I guess I grew up in a small town, so I never needed to. Oh wait! The summer after my freshman year, I had to take a taxi from the bus station to the airport... Oh yeah, that was an adventure in and of itself.... hehe :)

Sorry about the argument. :( My husband is gone for sometimes a few weeks at a time for work, and I notice that the closer it gets to him leaving, the more we bicker. I'm sure it has to do with knowing he is leaving and both of us being upset about that. Just continue to pray about it and remember all the good things about each other. :)
I totally agree with Brenda. My husband and I had the same problem when he used to come home and then go back to an away job. We finally realized that it was a way to create distance so the goodbye didn't hurt so much. Also, it helps to actually say being apart is awful. Sometimes all of those lonely times add up to a bickering time. So just say it after telling him that you are not trying to guilt him about being gone, just that you do miss so very very much and you need a very big big hug and some comforting.
