Apparently Jake woke up, discovered that I was still sleeping, and tried to make everyone else be quiet so that I would stay asleep and they could miss church. Little did he know that I was sick, and that's why we were skipping. Not because I'd overslept.
And the kids fought on and off, all freakin' day long... It was SO not pleasant... Jake wasn't used to being home that long with no other distractions, and was easily annoyed by the other kids. And everyone was getting annoyed with him.
But here's a happy picture of us. hehe. He did have his good moments. Look, the little turd is now officially taller than me. Look how our noses line up. Yeah, he's taller...
Anyway, we rested a lot today. And I didn't leave the bathroom vicinity too much. hehe. Eme was a great help to me in the late morning. She was bored, and decided that she wanted to clean/organize my bathroom. Both sinks were full of stuff, and there were things and jewelry everywhere. I know, I know, Captain America, you wouldn't have liked it. hehe. Anyway, she asked to clean it up, and was SO happy for the help.
I showed her where things went, and she got it all picked up, and put away. Then she moved on to my jewelry holder, then my desk, then the electronics pile. Wow, my room looked SO much better after she got done with it. I'm gonna have to enlist her help more often. hehe.
The kids did chores on and off all day, and it managed to look pretty decent by bedtime. We really didn't do anything today, besides clean and watch tv. After the little kids went to bed, Jake and Tom watched a movie together with Boxer on the couch. And I watched some 24 on and off all day.
I'm telling ya, next time I'm sick, I think it would be MORE relaxing to just go to church and escape from all the kids, than to stay here with them.... They have a bathroom at church, right? LOL.
Tomorrow, I'm getting up relatively early, getting the kids ready, and driving them over to Milam CDC/SAS to see about getting them in a weeks worth of Daycare Camp. I've got mixed reports as to whether or not they can go. One place said sure, and another place told me that because we're not dual military/single soldier, we can't use the program. So, we'll see tomorrow.
We were gonna put Joe in Hockey Camp, but for the same money (or close), I can get all the kids in the Childcare camp for a week. Keep your fingers crosses. I'd REALLY like a week off. hehe.
