So it's been a long time since I haven't blogged, huh? I was hurting SO bad on Thursday night. It was all I could do to get my WordArt packs loaded in my store. I had a migraine and was puking and felt SUPER nasty. But that's later in the day. hehe.

I woke up at 7:55am, and had to get Tom to camp at 8am. CRAP! We hurried as fast as we could, and got Joe and Jim and Eme and Tom read, and out the door by 8:14am. And Tom made it to BMX camp as they were loading the bikes onto the truck. Thank goodness!

I got Jim to the CDC, and Joe and Eme to the SAS, and I headed back home. I got online to Skype with Captain America, but it was the wrong day. But I didn't realize it at the time. I just thought that something must have come up on his end. When really, it was because I had the date wrong. LOL.

Anyway, I used the new fan box to make Ella a race track, and she and I drew flowers on it. Isn't it cute! And I painted Lily's toenails. It was an enjoyable morning.

At 10:20am, Aunt Sue and I headed up to the Beauty Spa for our nail appointment. Yes, I really left the house looking like this...We needed a fill. And the person who scheduled us didn't allow for enough time. So it was a rush job. And not the best. Not horrible, but definitely not the best. Hopefully the next fill is better.

Aunt Sue got a black tipped french manicure with SUPER cool glitter. it looked fabulous! Veronica, our nail girl, had the same thing done.

Here's mine. I had her shorten my nails to the length they were 3 weeks ago.

I'm high class...

After the nail, we got lunch, and headed over to pick up kids from daycare. And headed back to post. And yeah, they were bickering and fighting so much. I think they save it all when they're at childcare. Then give it to me as some kind of sick, twisted present.... Well, that's my theory, anyway...

And we headed to our BDE Back to School Backpack Bash! We were SO excited to get new backpacks for school. Here's the backpacks that we got....

Now let me say, it really was a nice gesture. It was. They will be good for overnighters, or as pool bags. Or for sunday coloring books. But a school backpack? Really? They should have marketed it different. I know quite a few people come came simply to get the school backpacks. And yeah, it's clearly not a school backpack...

Anyway, Jake couldn't handle it. He was mad, and walked home. He didn't think that I was gonna buy him a different backpack. Or something. He was just mad. So I let him walk home. He knew the way. The meeting was near the pool.

Anyway, they had a little presentation for us, then the kids got to go to different stations and get free stuff. Like pens and lanyards and bouncy balls and such. They had a good time after that.

This is me, wishing it was over and that I could go home...
Aunt Sue felt the same way!

I wanted one too!!!
Me and McGruff!

FINALLY, we were done. It seemed to take forever. We loaded up in the truck, and headed home. With more bickering, of course. Yeah, it had taken a toll on me. I took some migraine meds when I got home, and hoped that they'd work. I still had plans for the day!

Check out the new school supplies that we got from the "backpacks". 5 bottles of hand sanitizer, 5 packs of filler paper, 5 rulers, and 125 ish pencils. Sa-weet! Add it to my ever growing pile of school supplies :)

I had a few minutes before it was time for the Parent Teacher conference, so we helped Aunt Sue organize her suitcase. And I picked up in my room a tad bit. And I painted my fingernails. I liked the french manicure with color thing. But this red didn't dry well, and kept getting globby. It looked good for a few minutes, though :)At 4:30pm, we loaded up in the truck, and headed to the elementary school. Joe and Eme and Jim and Aunt Sue and I. We checked the front door, and it listed everyone's teachers. Austin and Jim got in different kindergarten classes. But Jim and Rachel (Crystals little girl) are in the same class.

Eme got teachers that do GT (gifted and talented), so I was pleased with that. And Joe got a teacher that I REALLY don't care for. He had her in 1st grade before we put him back to kindergarten. And it was a HORRIBLE experience for him. Yeah, SO didn't wanna keep him in there. And my friends all said that she's a HORRIBLE teacher. So I asked the principal about it, and he said to come back and ask him tomorrow during open registration. OK, will do!

And we headed to the gym for the introduction thingy. Jim and Joe were all over each other, and being unruly. Finally, I had to make Jim just sit RIGHT by me. Sigh. He's SO heavy to be sitting on my lap. 85 lbs is a BIG little boy!

He was trying... He really was...

Josephine and Leo (Kari) came and sat by us when they got there. The gym was pretty full, and we had a few extra spaces. They're GREAT kids :)

Finally, the assembly part was over. We went to meet Jim's teacher, and got her supply list and rules list and such. And then went to Eme's teachers. She has 2. They seemed like nice teachers. Then we went down the 2nd grade hall, and saw Joe's teacher, but I knew that we weren't gonna be keeping her, so what's the point, right?

I did notice, though, that the teacher that I did want had Laurie's daughter in the class. And they moved to Cali over the summer for her hubby to go to Grad School. So there's an opening! I'd use that tomorrow in my "plea" for a different teacher!

The kids all wanted to see their old teachers, so we went to each of their classrooms, and said Hi. Then headed out. And my last nerve was pretty frazzled by the time we got home.

I made chicken nuggets, and cut them up and put them in a cesear salad. And yeah, Jake HATED it. And accused me of trying to poison him. Ha! He's so strange. He was mad, though, so it wasn't as humorous as it seems looking back on it. Anyway, he and the rest of the kids eventually ate dinner, and all was good.

We'd asked Maddie to come to dinner with us (Aunt Sue and I), and I really thought she was gonna go. We'd waited until later to go so that the little girls would go to bed and be easier to watch. I asked a bit before 8pm if she was ready, and she said that she didn't wanna go. So Aunt Sue and I loaded up in the car and headed out.

And I'd waited so long to eat that my head was hurting. I took another imitrex on the way to dinner, hoping that it would feel better. It was Aunt Sue's first time at Crackle Barrel. LOVE that place. So did Aunt Sue!

She joked that this was her new ride LOL!
I need a hat, fascinator, like this for the next hat party!!!
These sock monkey jammies were ADORABLE!
LOVED this set!

This was super cute, but really? Halloween already?
We went and were seated after looking around the gift shop, and decided on Breakfast for dinner. LOVE it! In fact, I don't know if I'v ever ordered something different from Crackle Barrel...

Anyway, I had turkey sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits and hashbrowns. SO tasty! And a Diet Coke. Oh yeah, gotta love coke products!

We were supposed to meet Amanda at Walmart after dinner, but the headache wasn't going away. It was getting worse... LOTS worse...

It was raining and storming all the way home, but I made it home. In one piece. Without puking. Which is a good thing :) I came inside, and instantly started loading my store. But was So sick. I didn't blog, because I was feeling like crap.

I took some more meds after puking, and finished up the store, and went to bed. And there you go! That's my day :)
