Technical Difficulties Fixed :)

Yeah, I don't know why only 1/2 of my blog posted this morning. I went in and put the rest of it there. Nothing like blogging the same thing twice - hehehe. BUT, it's all there, complete with the 2nd half of my day AND the freebie (I know you were just upset about the 2nd half of my day being gone, right???)

New Things

Hey all :) Good morning! So how was your Monday? I started mine off at 8am ish. Captain America was hurrying to be out the door on time. I got kids food, and my breakfast together.

At 10:15am, I snuck out and made a Sonic run. I'd gotten a text last night from them telling me that their rt 44's were gonna be $0.99 until 11 am today. So I grabbed one for me, one for Andrea, and one for Captain America. Then headed to the ATM, then headed to Andreas house.

I said I had 2 empty seats in my truck if some of her kids wanted to come to Free Lunch with me. I took the 2 yr old and the 7 yr old. Joe would be SO excited to see Ben. They're good buddies.

I drove with her kids back home, picked up my own, and we headed out to Free Lunch. Mac N Cheese day :) The kids LOVED it. We even took some left overs home for later - hehehe.

Here's Eme and Jake posing for my camera :)

And Joe and Ben and Jim (in the background) and Tom

Me and my Sonic - mmmmm

After lunch, we came back home, and the kids played. Joe and Ben played Lego something or another on Wii, and Luke played with Jake and Tom and Jim. Here's Ben and Joe playing.

Crap.... I came back and edited this yesterday, and it didn't save. All the rest of the pics. The WordArt post.... sigh. I guess I"ll just post the wordart and be done with it. :(

OK, here's all the parts that I lost on my "saving" issues..... I walked Luke home between 3:30 and 4pm, and we got side tracked in the neighbors trash. hehehe. They were getting rid of this cute little slide, and Luke wanted to stop and play for a bit. I wasn't on a time crunch, so we stopped and played :)

I made homemade Crepes for the kids for dinner. Mmmmm. I just LOVE crepes. But I had some cheese and cucumbers. My chicken wasn't all the way defrosted, and I didn't wanna mess with it.

Here's Eme with her Strawberry, Peaches, and Yogurt crepe :)

And here's me without one :( See the grouchy face - LOL!

After dinner, Jim, Tom, Eme and I headed to Captain Americas softball game. It was pretty good. They won 5 to 2, but had a TON of hits from both team. Sure, they were all caught, but that made the game go faster - hehehe. Here's Captain America playing catcher :)

After the game, we got the kids settled in, ready for bed and watching a movie, and Captain America and I went to Verizon. We got new phones!!! I got a Motorola Droid, and I just LOVE it. It's pretty cool.

We got home around 9:30pm, and tried to figure out how to work them. Adding a new contact shouldn't be that hard, you know - LOL. I muddled my way through it, though. For some reason, Backup Assistant didn't work on my new phone. So I added phone numbers to my Verizon account online, exported it to a CVS file, imported it to my Gmail account, and it synced with my Droid to add all my Gmail contacts to my phone. Crazy, huh?

Plus, this new phone has apps. That's kinda fun :) Never had Apps before. hehe. I think I like Apps. I got my scriptures on there, and some games, and Twitter, and all sorts of junk :) Gotta like that :)

BUT, I think it messed up my blog post from last nite. I'm not sure how (or why), but I think it deleted my changes. I'll have to watch that. It throws off my groove, you know - hehehe.

I didn't get to bed till around 1am last night. But I'd had a fun day, so it was worth it ;)

Too Hot To Handle

First off, because I'm a slacker, I haven't been the quickest with showing off my new products - hehehe. BUT, better late than never, right? Here's my new stuff that released this past Friday :) Enjoy! Click HERE to go to my store :)

Hey girls :) Whatchya know? My Sunday was nice and restful. How about yours? I got up just as Captain America was leaving for church. As Ward Mission leader, he needs to be at a before church meeting. 7:20am was plenty early for me, thank you very much - hehehe.

I got up and got showered and fixed up and dressed and such, then went out to help the kids. We made it to church on time. Yeah! And got our normal row, and Captain America got to sit with us. I'm still enjoying that part of him NOT being in the bishopric. lol.

Sacrament meeting was good. And in Sunday School, I figured out how to access the scriptures on my phone. That was pretty cool. Then in Relief Society, I figured out how to access the lesson manual on my phone too. Bookmarked that site, that's for sure. Just hope everyone didn't think I was totally playing on my phone the whole time. It's nice not to have to carry around books - hehehe.

It was Andreas last Sunday, so I chatted with her and some other friends after church quite a bit. My kids were getting annoyed. hehehe. Your good friends only move away every once in a while, you know. OK, so in army life, the curve is a bit higher, but you know what I mean :)

After we finally got home from church, we had lunch, then had "manditory quiet time". Read: mom needs a nap time. LOL! It was SO nice. Captain America went over to work on his truck with Joe, since he leaves VERY soon for Ft Sill, and I got a nice nap. My dad called at around 3:30pm to visit for a minute. He and my mom drove out to Utah to help my sister and her hubby and 2 kids move to Ft Hood (Texas, 8 hours from here)

They were about 2 hours from Ft Hood when he called. I couldn't really go back to sleep after that, so got up and helped the little boys organize their room. I'm about to the point where I go thru all their clothes, pick out 7 outfits, and box up the rest. I'm tired of the MOUNTAINS of laundry from those two. So for now, I'm washing and drying and folding and sorting everything they own, then I'll go thru it. Maybe it'll get done today. Maybe not. Let's hope it does. hehehe.

I started dinner at around 5pm. I took 2 boxes of Stove Top stuffing, and combined it with 1 1/2 cups of shredded potatoes (frozen) and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. Then, I grounded up 1 lb of turkey burger and some onions, and added and mixed up that. I put it in a baking pan, and baked it for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Smells pretty good, but I'm eating my normal fish or chicken and veggies.

So I cooked fish for myself, and had a salad. It was pretty good. After dinner was all done and cleaned mostly up, I folded another batch of laundry, and the kids and I made cookies. Oatmeal with cocoa powder added to it. I'm not tasting, so I don't know how it'll be. But the kids LOVED the dough. So I'm assuming they're good - hehehe.

After cookies, we watched Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves together. It had a few rough parts in it that I didn't remember.... hehehe. But I LOVE the music. I remember being in band in High School and playing that music.

Anyway, we said family prayer, and put the kids to bed, and here we are. It's 10:10pm, and I'm ready for bed. Yawn....

Teach Them Love

OK, first off, for anyone who's my friend on Facebook, and now you're not, it's not you, it's me. hehehe. But really, though, I'd been spending too much time on Facebook, and was letting it suck me in, so I'm taking a break. I deactivated my account (did you even know you could do such a thing? hehe) I'll be back. Maybe a few weeks. Don't know. But, just know that it's totally not you. Try not to miss me too much, lol! What's that you say? You didn't even know I was gone? hehehe.

Anyway, here's a few more pics from yesterday. Here's Captain America and I right before we headed out on our date. Yeah, I'm just a tad enthusiastic about being out of the house - hehehe. I spent the WHOLE day at home. hehehe.

And right before the movie but after Verizon, we stopped by Academy sports so Captain America could buy some new cleat-y things to go on the bottoms of his cleats for Softball. Check out these FABULOUS zebra stripped rubber boots I found. Now, if I only lived somewhere where it rained...

Captain America and I had planned on getting up early and him working on his truck and me cleaning up the house some more, but when we finally woke up at 10am, we realized that wasn't gonna happen - hehehe. I did feel rested, though! LOL!

We had breakfast/lunch, then at around noon-ish, he headed over to Joe's house to work on his truck. I cleaned my room for about an hour, then I showered and got ready.

The USO was putting on a Sesame Street production today! My neighbor, Leigh, got free tickets for me and the 3 little kids. They were pretty excited about going. We headed up there at around 1:40pm, and Leigh was already there saving seats for us. The kids each got an Elmo spinner lighty upy thingy, and a bandana. And we got a DVD and some papers stuff when we went in too.

Here's Joe, intently watching the show.

And Joe and Jim

Eme and Kaleigh (Leighs daughter)

Me and Leigh

Jimmy and his spinner thingy

At the very end, the characters sang near the audience, and all the kids rushed to hug them. Grover came over by our bleachers, and I let the kids crowd in. You can see Jimmy lovin' on Grover, but he's oblivious - hehehe.

So when it was over, we looked outside, and it was POURING. Whaaaaaat? This is the desert, right? Luckily they gave me a bandana, so I covered my head and made a run for it. Here's me, trying to get to the truck before my hair curled up - ha!

We drove home in our wet truck (cause I left the windows down because it was hot, then had to roll them up because it was raining, so it was HOT and WET inside. sigh), and I got the kids a sandwich. And I had lunch. And downloaded my pics, and the kids played with the neighbor kids for a while, and then played outside for a bit. Cause although it was pouring earlier, it's nice and warm now.

I'm trying to blog little pieces during the day, so that it's not such a long process at night. So here it is, almost 4pm, and I think I need a migraine pill. My shoulders feel tight, and that's one of my tells. I think I'll go work on my room for a bit longer and take some meds. After dinner, I think I'm gonna make Captain America take me out on a date again. Cause I'm getting spoiled with all of the dates. hehehe.

I wandered down to Andreas house for a while to look at her PODS. hehehe. She's moving, and they're using PODS. They have 3 to fill up, and be out of their house by Tuesday. Poor thing.

Anyway, on my way down, I looked at my purple bush, and everyone elses purple bush. Hmmmm.

Yeah, is that even the same bush? Cause if it is, mine sucks. Those big purple ones smell DIVINE! Of course, they have a TON of bees in them, but still. Look how pretty they are :)

So I hung at Andreas for about 20 minutes, and helped her reach a few tall things. I'm gonna miss that girl when she moves. But I know it'll be a good move for her family. And for little Luke. He really doesn't do well in El Paso...

So at 4:45pm, we got the coals going in the grill for dinner, and I sat down to design a freebie for y'all. Something Sunday-ish. hehehe.

Dinner was done by 5:45pm. Chicken thighs, rice-a-roni, and green salad. I skipped the rice-a-roni for myself, just the chicken and salad. Mmmm, it was good :)

Captain America came home around 6:30pm, and after he had dinner, cleaned up, and got ready for our date, we headed out.

We drove to the mall, and bought his vitamins, then walked around for a bit. We stopped by McDonalds and bought dollar sodas and had fun making fun of the guys who wore girl jeans, and the girls who wore things that they really shouldn't be wearing...

Like this. I mean, really...

We found $2.50 Old Navy t-shirts. Captain America and I and Jake and Tom and Eme all got one. We couldn't find any kid sizes. We figured we'd get them a "Faded Glory" shirt from WalMart, and call it good - hehehe.

We left the mall at 9pm, and headed to Wal-Mart. We needed Diet Dr Pepper. Cause we were out. And I don't wanna be stuck caffiene-less on Sunday. hehehe. Cause we don't shop on Sunday, ya know- hehehe.

Now really, should it really be this crowded at the check-outs at almost 10pm? I think not...

We were home by 10pm. We put the big kids to bed, then sat down to watch a movie together. Here it is, 12;44pm, and I'm almost ready for bed. Just need to add a few more pictures and I'm all good to go. Captain America is snoring next to me, so he's already asleep. hehehe.

So the WordArt I picked for today is a scripture from the July 2010 Visit Teaching message. I thought it was a nice scripture, and a nice thought :) Teach our children the right and correct things. It will help them, and it will help us :)

*pouts*

What a day, what a day! I woke up at almost 8am, and saw Captain America off to work. Then started on cleaning the house. I decided to rearrange. Because I LOVE rearranging. I can't stand to have the same set up for more than 3 months, I think. Sometimes less - hehehe. Anyway, I wanted to move the living room into the dining room, and the dining room into the living room, with the computers into the downstairs bedroom. It was quite the endeavor.

And you know what? It looks really good! All of my living room furniture fits even better in the dining room, and the old living room space seems SUPER big. And I took down the computers that didn't work, so there's only one desktop and 2 laptops in the bedroom.

During this process, I wanted to move the modem from the old living room computer nook area into the bedroom. But it didn't work with that cable thingy. So I called Time Warner, and yeah, I was on the phone with them for 2 freakin' hours! Waiting. Waiting. And waiting some more.... Good thing I could still move and organize and such with the phone on my ear.

After 2 hours, I hung up. And moved the modem and router back to where my bookcases now are. And set them up there. We'll have to figure out what to do with the desktops internet connection soon, but for now, we have all the laptops connected. Sigh. Maybe one computer desk will need to go to the new dining room....

Captain America came home at lunch time. We hung out in the new living room for about 20 minutes, then he had to go back to work. He's having some kind of training today. For what, I don't know - hehehe. He headed back to work, and I sat down on the couch with my laptop, Jimmy, and Spiderman 3. I still had more cleaning to do, but it could wait... As could the grocery shopping, and the shower. Yeah, we'll see how long I can push those off - hehehe.

I got about 1/2 way through the movie, and had to get up and do something else. I swear I have ADD. hehehe. Here's me before my shower, bandana and glasses and all - ha!

And me after my shower. I LOVE make up - hehehe

Here's a pic that Captain America sent me around that same time from work. Isn't he cute :)

So after showering and getting ready, I printed out my shopping list and headed to the grocery store. I really wasn't in the mood for it, but it needed done. We were out of things that I eat. hehehe. Here's me getting ready to drive to the commissary.

I came in $2 under budget, but I haven't bought the soda yet. So I'm gonna end up being over budget. But it all comes out ok by the end of the month....

Here's me getting ready to come home. I really wish they would have had Gala or Breaburn apples on sale. Nasty Red Delicious. $0.79 a lb, verses $1.09 a lb for apples that looked bad. Sigh. Hopefully this new summer crop will be better...

So as I pulled into the neighborhood, I saw that the grassy field by our house had sprinklers going. So I hustled in, and asked the kids if they wanted to play. Only Jim did. But he was done in about 3 minutes. hehehe. Here is is before running and playing.

And here's me, passing the time (yeah, all 3 minutes of it) while Jimmy played in the sprinklers. I sat down by my garage where I could see him. I didn't think he'd be done quite so fast. hehehe. It was pretty bright. Notice the pic without the sunglasses. That's as good as I could get it, because it was SO bright :)

So Jim and I came inside, had the other kids help carry in the groceries, and I put them away. I sat down on the computer in the living room for a bit, and watched the end of Spider Man 3. They must have re-started it, because it was in a similar part from when I left.

After the movie, the kids borrowed Mario Cart from the neighbor, and him and Tom and Joe and Jim played. They got quite loud, I must say - hehehe.

We had dinner, and Captain America got home around 6pm. We left around 7:00pm on our date. We went to get Circle K soda, and ended up spending quite a bit of time at Verizon. After that, we went and saw "The Last Airbender". It was pretty good.

Insert Foot In Mouth

Hey peeps :) hehe, who really says that? LOL! So how was your Thursday? Good, I hope!

I was still in a drug induced coma (lol - no disrespect to those REALLY in a drug induced coma...) in the morning, so ended up sleeping in until 10am. I KNOW! 10am is even late for me. I just felt in a fog most of the morning.

I called a got a few appointments set up this morning. I got Jake a doctors appointment, and finally set up an appointment for myself. See, I have this dumb tail bone. I know, I know. BUT, it sticks out WAY further than it should. So much so that it's uncomfortable to sit in chairs for long periods of time. Going to the movies about KILLS me. I seriously need a donut or something to sit on - hehehe. My mother in law things I must have broke my tail bone as a kid, and that it just didn't heal well.

Anyway, I have an appointment next week to see about it. I don't know what they do for it. My thought is, though, if they have to put me under to remove a piece, would I be able to afford piggy backing a tummy tuck in with it? Cause I have a TON of loose, extra skin on my stomach that isn't going anywhere. Going from 240 to 145 and being pregnant 7 times (2 miscarriages, 5 births) doesn't help. TONS of extra skin. Anyway, that's my thought process on that one.

I also tried to set up vision appointments, but I can't get the On Post vision center to answer their phones..... Hmmmmm. And I got Jimmy set up in 2 weeks for a visit with the ENT. He snores HORRIBLY and has had strep twice this year. The ER doctor recommended that we go and get his tonsils looked at.

I helped the kids do their chores, and decided to skip Free Lunch. I thought the housing guys were coming to spray for bug, but it's Friday, not Thursday. Oops. Anyway, Captain America got home at around 11:30am for lunch, and we all sat at the table together. It was nice :)

After lunch, he dropped me off at Andreas house. They just found out Tuesday that they're getting Stationed at Ft Jackson, South Carolina, and their report date is August 2nd. BUT, Ryan is taking leave (vacation) on the 14th, and they need to clear housing (be out of their house) by the 13th. Whaaaaat? Poor girl is stressing. PLUS, because of the short notice, the army won't move them. They'll have to do it by themselves. Yeah, the army will pay them back, but she has today, Friday, Sat, Sun, and Mon to get her whole house packed, cleaned, and moved. I don't know what she's gonna do.

Anyway, he dropped me off at her house on the way back to work, and I helped her pack up her DVD's. And a box from Sam's room. Then we headed out to get some more boxes from the Recycle place. We got 3 big ones with packing paper inside, and figured that she could use it for her kitchen. And 2 Mirror boxes with packing papers, that we think would be good for her flat screen TV's. We've moved SO many times without movers that I had a few tips for her - hehehe.

We also stopped by Self Help and she got some door stoppers, and looked for paint, but they said not to worry about it, because they didn't have the right color.

She dropped me off at my house at around 3pm, and went to pick up her kids from childcare. My kids were playing nicely together. That's always good - hehehe.

So here it is, 3:30pm, and I figured that I'd blog a little bit before this evening. We may be going to see Shrek 4 on post. It's only a dollar on post on Thursday nights. Can't beat a new movie at the theater for a dollar a person, you know. Captain America is gonna go work on his truck for 3 more hours this evening, and I don't like being by myself so much anymore when he's away. I guess I just don't like being by myself anymore. Give your brain too much "alone" time.... But I thought it was sweet that he's just blocking out small periods of time to be gone. Not ALL day projects. Short times. He's really trying to help me out while I'm struggling with some things.

Cause we all struggle with things from time to time, you know. Different people have different issues, but I know that we all have them. We all have times that are easier and harder than others. Some just come, and some are of our own making. I think the real lesson is what we do with those situations. How we deal with them. Who we rely on. What kind of person we become because of it.

Can we take a bad situation and be better because of it? Can we make relationships stronger? Can we forgive and forget and learn from our past? Can we make friendships stronger? Can we make our weaknesses into strengths?

Anyway, if we can answer yes to these questions, we're doing the right things. We're learning what we should be learning.

Here's me, sitting on the couch, pondering things. OK, half laying, half sitting. The couch is just SO comfy. Thanks again, Leslie, for "inheriting" it to me - hehehe.

Back to blogging - hehehe. Captain America got home at around 5pm. I reheated some left overs for the kids, and made my normal dinner for me, and Captain America had soup like always. We really are quite routine, you know - hehehe.

Captain America went to work on his truck, and the kids and I headed to the movies. Shrek 4 was playing on post, and it was $0.99 nite. LOVE dollar movie nite :) Plus, they have a card, where after you purchase 9 movies, you get a free med drink and popcorn. Since I was taking my 5 kids, 2 neighbor kids, and myself, which is 8 tickets, I asked if I could just pay for one more ticket to get the free popcorn and drink, and they said yes - hehehe. So we had soda and popcorn to share :)

We saw Laurie and her kids, and Danielle and her family there, so we went to sit by them WAY up front. It really was a good movie. I enjoyed it :) Here's a pic of Jimmy and I as the movie was getting over. It was FREEZING, so I'm glad he wanted to come and snuggle with me 1/2 way through...

I got the last refill of soda, Diet Coke. hehehe. Me and Shrek...

Kaleigh (Leigh's daughter) and Eme

Some random kid who wanted to be in the picture, Joe, and Jim. ha!

And, I just had to share my GREAT find from Fallas Paredes. I found this white corduroy jacket for $2.00. Cute, eh? I wore it because I just knew it was gonna be cold in the theater. And I was right, it was :)

And here's Joe and I before I put him to bed :)

Kids went to bed a little after 9pm, and Captain America got home around 9:30pm. I got my pics all uploaded to Facebook as her was walking in the door. We hung for a while, and here it is, almost 11pm. Not too bad for me. I'm just finishing up blogging, and ready to sleep. My sunburn is KILLING me. Hopefully tomorrow it will be better.

And (TMI, I know), I've been feeling very "plugged up" lately (too much cheese, I think), so I took a normal dose of laxatives. Whatever it said on the box. And now I'm dying. hehehe. Note to self. Take 1/2 a dose next time. No more plugged up feeling, though...

So with that cheery thought, here's your WordArt for the day - hehehe.
