Too Hot To Handle

First off, because I'm a slacker, I haven't been the quickest with showing off my new products - hehehe. BUT, better late than never, right? Here's my new stuff that released this past Friday :) Enjoy! Click HERE to go to my store :)

Hey girls :) Whatchya know? My Sunday was nice and restful. How about yours? I got up just as Captain America was leaving for church. As Ward Mission leader, he needs to be at a before church meeting. 7:20am was plenty early for me, thank you very much - hehehe.

I got up and got showered and fixed up and dressed and such, then went out to help the kids. We made it to church on time. Yeah! And got our normal row, and Captain America got to sit with us. I'm still enjoying that part of him NOT being in the bishopric. lol.

Sacrament meeting was good. And in Sunday School, I figured out how to access the scriptures on my phone. That was pretty cool. Then in Relief Society, I figured out how to access the lesson manual on my phone too. Bookmarked that site, that's for sure. Just hope everyone didn't think I was totally playing on my phone the whole time. It's nice not to have to carry around books - hehehe.

It was Andreas last Sunday, so I chatted with her and some other friends after church quite a bit. My kids were getting annoyed. hehehe. Your good friends only move away every once in a while, you know. OK, so in army life, the curve is a bit higher, but you know what I mean :)

After we finally got home from church, we had lunch, then had "manditory quiet time". Read: mom needs a nap time. LOL! It was SO nice. Captain America went over to work on his truck with Joe, since he leaves VERY soon for Ft Sill, and I got a nice nap. My dad called at around 3:30pm to visit for a minute. He and my mom drove out to Utah to help my sister and her hubby and 2 kids move to Ft Hood (Texas, 8 hours from here)

They were about 2 hours from Ft Hood when he called. I couldn't really go back to sleep after that, so got up and helped the little boys organize their room. I'm about to the point where I go thru all their clothes, pick out 7 outfits, and box up the rest. I'm tired of the MOUNTAINS of laundry from those two. So for now, I'm washing and drying and folding and sorting everything they own, then I'll go thru it. Maybe it'll get done today. Maybe not. Let's hope it does. hehehe.

I started dinner at around 5pm. I took 2 boxes of Stove Top stuffing, and combined it with 1 1/2 cups of shredded potatoes (frozen) and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. Then, I grounded up 1 lb of turkey burger and some onions, and added and mixed up that. I put it in a baking pan, and baked it for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Smells pretty good, but I'm eating my normal fish or chicken and veggies.

So I cooked fish for myself, and had a salad. It was pretty good. After dinner was all done and cleaned mostly up, I folded another batch of laundry, and the kids and I made cookies. Oatmeal with cocoa powder added to it. I'm not tasting, so I don't know how it'll be. But the kids LOVED the dough. So I'm assuming they're good - hehehe.

After cookies, we watched Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves together. It had a few rough parts in it that I didn't remember.... hehehe. But I LOVE the music. I remember being in band in High School and playing that music.

Anyway, we said family prayer, and put the kids to bed, and here we are. It's 10:10pm, and I'm ready for bed. Yawn....

I love that word art. How funny that your sister just moved to Hood. That's where we are! :) We're actually stationed @ Fort Sam Houston (in San Antonio) but my hubby's civi job is at Fort Hood! Crazy, huh? lol

Love the new word art. Thanks so much for sharing it. Hey, I went to high school in Lampassas, TX which is right down the road from Ft. Hood. What a small world!

I had commented on your wordart from Tue. July 6 but never heard a response from you, so I thought I'd try again here. It seems like the final "s" in that day's WA is cut off at the bottom, and I was wondering if you designed it that way or it just somehow didn't save all the way after you made it, or what?

I just saw the new word art at Scrapbook design and wanted to comment on the adoption set. I love the saying "You may not be from my body, but you will always be apart of my heart." It is so true. We adopted our daughter last year and I could not imagine loving a child more than I do her. She is the love our of lives!

Side note: We will be moving soon so some moving word art would be wonderful! lol
