Out of the Past

First off, here's a photo of my mom and baby Jack!!! Aren't they cute!!!! Just wanted to share :)

I woke up bright and early Monday morning, and got Jake ready for Seminary and on the road. We headed out and listened to scriptures on the way. I got my nap in, and we headed back to post. I got the kids ready for the bus, then got kids off to school. Me and Suzanne were the only 2 moms at the bus stop this morning. She gave me a ride back home.

And I crawled back into bed with my phone, and texted with my friends for about 30 minutes before deciding what to do for the day. Kari was cleaning for the morning at home. Amanda was in Albuquerque. Terra is usually at the gym. But decided to skip so she could play with me. Woohoo! I had a playing partner!!!
I changed clothes and went to wait outside for Terra. We were heading out to play :) Me and my Miche purse. Purple today :)

First stop, Walmart. Terra had some change to change in. I'd never seen one of these change machines in action. I was assassinated! They were pretty cool, actually!

I needed tampons. And to get Jake's watch fixed. And to buy Tom a real watch so he didn't have to use my pink one. He was playing it off like it was "flesh" colored. But yeah, he's a 6th grade boy. I don't know how long that one's gonna work. hehe.

Next, we went to the electronics. Terra wanted an iPod something or another for an Xmas present for one of her kids. And i wanted a picture with Jack... See how I have a think for guys named Jack???
Next stop was Bassett Center to return something to Claires. And then we walked around for a bit. And when we walked past the movie theater, they were showing "The Help", and we spur of the moment decided to go and see it! It had started 15 minutes earlier, and we just missed the previews. It had JUSt started and we didn't miss a thing.

It was a FABULOUS movie. I enjoyed every minute of it! If the book is anything like it, I'll totally enjoy it! The book, that is. Terra and I had a great time!

T

We finished up with the movie, and headed over to the West side to pick up the twins from ABA therapy. Then went to Target. And it made me smile that the twins were so happy to see me. Ms Bessie. LOL. As they like to call me :)
I did find a fun sword in Target.
Me and the girls
Eventually we had to pay and head home. Because kids were gonna get off the bus. Hmpf. Grown up responsibilities or something like that....
Good news, though, Terra found these DIVINE peanut butter filled chocolate pumpkin shaped things. OMHeavens. They were tasty! Thanks, my dear! Sugar rush!
Super tasty treat for the car ride home. She dropped me off at the house, then headed home. I walked to the bus to pick up the kids at 315 and hung with the girls. I didn't get home until around 415. hehe. The kids played at the bus stop forever. It's good for them.

We had snack and did some chores, and relaxed for a bit. At 515, we headed up to Soccer practice. Kari and I walked laps, and Joe and and Leo practiced. After practice, we went to the park, and Kim and I chatted while our kids played. Then we all headed home, and the kids did another round of chores. My kids were all in bed by 7:45pm.

I started blogging and watched an episode of Warehouse 13. I'm still liking the show. It's now 8:36pm. I'm sleepy tonight. I bet it's because of the walk. Exercise can really tire a person out, you know. hehe. I'm gonna either go to sleep right now, or cuddle up with my blanket and watch one more episode. I haven't decided yet...

What a beautiful photo of your Mum and Jack.

We have those cash machines in the UK in some of our supermarkets. I used to collect my change through the year and cash in at Christmas.

Love your purple bag. I want one!!!
xoxo
