Decisions

Well, crud. I just realized that I needed a Faithbooking WordArt for tomorrow. Sigh. Oh well, you get this one instead.... hehehe. I'm sure you'll survive :)

So remember how I was bragging about how wonderful Jimmy was doing? Yeah, it spoke prematurely... He's since decided that he doesn't want to swallow. Kinda brings the Popsicle thing to a grinding halt...

SOOO, he was spitting a lot of saliva out last night, and I had to make him eat his popsicles before I could give him more drugs. POOR little baby. It hurt my heart to see him that way.

I slept on one couch, and he slept on the other. I went to bed at 1am, and he and I were up at 4am to get him to eat a popsicle and give him more meds. The household woke up at around 8am. Not too bad.

We laid around most of the day. Literally. We watched some movies, I sent some of the kids outside to play for a while, but mostly, I just sat around.

Maddie and her girls went to McDonalds for lunch, and Captain America went to work at 9am for Staff Duty. Again. He had it last weekend too. Sigh. And because it's a weekend staff duty, he had to go in at 9am, and gets off at 9am Sunday morning.

So no church for him. And no church for Jimmy and I. I would leave Jimmy with Captain America, but since he'll be unconscious, that probably wouldn't be the best course of action - hehehe. I facebooked about it, and got a TON of people to help with my kids at church tomorrow.

Karin is gonna come and pick up Jake, Tom, Eme and Joe. She'll drive them to church. Jake will sit with Kristie after he helps pass the sacrament. Tom is sitting with Heather and her little girls. Eme is sitting with Hilary and Paul's family. Joe is sitting with Danielle's family.

Then, Hilary is gonna take Eme home with them after church, and Karin will drive the other 3 home. I'm SO glad to have friends in this ward who help out :) THANKS YOU GUYS!!!

Here's a few pic of me trying to get Jimmy to eat some jello so I could give him his pain meds. Yeah, he wasn't liking it too well...

And me and the evil jello. Or am I the evil one???

Anyway, I spent part of the day getting that all arranged. Should be good. At one point, I actually went and took a shower. That's always a good thing, huh? hehehe.

Here's Jake and Eme. Jake is working on Merit Badges for his Eagle Scout, and Eme is drawing pictures of horses. Tom was outside playing with neighbor kids. Joe and Jim? Where are they, you ask?

Joe fell asleep on the couch
And so did Jimmy
I cooked drumsticks and salad for dinner. Maddie took her girls and Eme and headed to McDonalds playland for dinner, and the boys and I stayed here. At 5pm, I hopped online for our Scrapbookgraphics Summer Soiree Kick Off chat. There was also one at 5am in my time zone, but yeah, I wasn't gonna be awake for that - hehehe. But I did make it to the 5pm one.

Captain America got home for dinner at around 5:45pm, and I got offline so I could hang with him for a while at dinner. Then he headed back to his Staff Duty. Maddie and the girls came back, and had round 2 of dinner - LOL.

Jimmy was feeling a tad bit better, and ate 3/4 of a popsicle, 3/4 of a yogurt, and a push up. And a big drink of water. Yeah, that's REAL good for him for today :) He's watching a movie on the couch with me right now.

It's almost over, and when it's over, I'm gonna put in either "The Illusionist", or "The Prestige". I still need to decide which one I wanna see...

Click on the link below to go to my account to download the PNG file, and leave some love if you like my work. thank!

(yeah, no packaging today. I didn't feel like attaching the laptop to the TV, and the screen is not completely shot. So I'm out of luck. Designing on the OLD Dell, that's missing the H and the S keys. Yeah, it's LOVELY :)

How about: 3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." for your faithbooking quote? Seems like it might be appropriate for your little one this week.

You could shorten it to "Prosper in all things and be in health"

Thank you for the "Decisions" WordArt, which is so timely for our family today as we are concerned about our aging and ailing almost fourteen-year-old pet.

Wonderful word art. I love the balance and symmetry between the lines, both physical (visual) and psychological (emotional). Thanks so much for sharing!
