I woke up at 7:30am with the first round of kids asking questions. "Can we have banana muffins for Breakfast?" "Can we watch TV?" Can we... Can we.... Can we?". So I checked my email and facebook on my phone real fast, and then tried to go back to sleep.
And I'd replied to something that Andrea had said on her Facebook account, so she knew that I was awake, and she called. WOOHOO!!! I love chatting with my girl Andrea :) And we were on the phone for almost 3 hours. hehe. Chatting about everything. She's always been like a sister to me. Love ya, girl!
I went out, and hung with the kids for a bit after that. We all had lunch, and I cleaned up for a bit. First, I went through Eme's clothes and got rid of the ones that were too small (she helped). Then we did Joe and Jims, and hung up some bigger sized clothes for them.
And I helped Tom clean his room Detail clean. Because it was SO messy! We went through it, and threw away 2 garbage bags of stuff. That child is a hoarder, I swear. I found candy wrappers, sucker sticks, waterbottles, you name it, there was trash for it up there. In sock drawers, behind his bed, stuffed in every nook and cranny. Not so cool, Tom.
But we plugged in some good tunes, and got to work. Taking out all the clothes that didn't fit him, and cleaning. And it look AWESOME when we were done. Jake want's me to help him detail his room tomorrow after church.
And then, I realized that it was 3:30. How did it possibly get so late??? I ran downstairs, threw on some clothes, grabbed the little boys and the hockey gear, and we drove over to the rink. We were not too late :)
I finally got both of the gloves back that Jim had lost a few weeks ago. Pfew! Hockey gets over next week, and I needed the gloves to turn back in :)
I snapped a few pictures while I was rink side.
I sat with Kari's hubby, Brian, and their daughter Josephine while the boys played hockey. And it was an extra long practice tonight. I think the boys were super tired by the time they were done. I helped them change out of their gear, and we headed home.
OK, enough pictures of me. hehe. I liked my new purple sweatshirt, though. It was velour-feeling :) hehe. Anyhow, got back home, made sure the kids were all good and taken care of, and decided that I wanted to go to the movies. I didn't know what I wanted to see, but thought that it would be fun.
But sitting around in my jammies also sounded good. So I decided to leave it up to fate. I posted to Facebook that I wanted someone to go to a movie with me, and decided that if I had a taker, I'd go. If not, then I was supposed to stay home. hehe. Needless to say, no one wanted to go - hehe.
So we just hung out for the remainder of the evening. Here's a few pics I snapped of the kids.
We just ate whatever for dinner (nice, huh), and relaxed. I posted some pictures to Facebook, and I'm not really sure what we did, but eventually, it was 7:30pm, and we put the little kids to bed. And Jake and Tom and I watched 2 episodes of Chuck.
And it's not 9:30pm, and I'm almost done blogging. I get to sub for Singing Time tomorrow, and I need to come up with something fun to do. And I might watch a show. Or just go to bed. Cause I'm sleepy :) We'll see - hehe.
