A Day in the Life

Lots of new stuff in the store this week! 5 New WOrdArt packs, just $2.00 each. Click HERE to go to my store.

AND, in honor of my Anniversary this month, I bundled up 2 different Love Bundles! Each only $10, for 15 WordArt Packs. Oh yeah, that's a KILLER deal :) Would it be tacky to say "Please Please Please go buy something?" hehe.

Hey there girls :) So how was your week so far? Mine's been pretty good! Got up at 7 something today, read scriptures, said prayers, got Jake ready for horse camp, and was out the door by 8:15am with him. We printed him up a new Star Wars shirt, and ironed it on RIGHT before leaving. He was pretty happy.

I left Tom in charge of the other kids, and told them that Electronics were open UNTIL I got home. Then we were gonna be cleaning. I got home around 9am, and we started cleaning. And got done about 10am. And had 30 minutes to kill before going to the sprinkler park. I let the kids each have a popsicle once they were done with their chores. Jim was SO happy. hehe.

The sprinkler park ended up being a TON of fun for the kids. Well, it's a fountain, really. Ft Bliss' Freedom Crossing has a fountain outside of the PX and Food Court. We brought chairs, and let the kids run. I was surprised at how much Tom and Eme enjoyed it. Amanda and Terra and kids were there too.

Joe was SO mad that Jim had taken the towel that he wanted, that he refused to put on swim clothes or play. He put on a black hoodie, zipped it up, and sulked in a corner the WHOLE time... Maybe next time he can play. And his pride won't get in the way...

We dried the kids off at 11:15, and then drove on over to Free Lunch at 11:30am. Burritos, veggies, apricots, and milk. My kids went back for 2nds and 3rds. Thank goodness for free lunch. hehe.

After eating, I decided to swing by the commissary and pick up a few needed items. Since we were RIGHT next door... We grabbed some stuff for shish-ka-bobs, and some cereal, and some Steamer dinners, and a few other necessities. And paid and headed home. The kids were SO excited about helping with the groceries. We only had about $50 worth, so I just paid the bagger a dollar to put it in bags then back in my cart, and Tom helped me load the car and take it inside.

We got back home around 1pm, and the kids just wanted to relax. Tom had talked about going to the youth center with Jake in the afternoon, but decided to play with Noah instead. I worked on some Love WordArt Bundles, and got a little nap, and then at 3pm, we decided to go for a swim. And Amanda and Austin came over to play.

After about an hour, we were done with the pool, dried off, they went home, and I watched some 24. And the kids watched a movie. And the rest of the evening passed without incident. We did chores once in there, and I went to pick up Jake at the youth center with Joe and Jim and Eme around 7. Back home we came, and the kids watched Jake play some Guitar Hero on the Wii.

I put Joe and Jim to bed at 8pm, and snuggled with Jimmy in his bed for a while. Jake and Tom and Eme went to bed at 9:30pm. And here it is, 10:30pm, and I'm done blogging, and done adding my store, and done with all my work. It was a productive day. Not a good eating day, though. I think I ate everything that I saw. I'll do better tomorrow. I promise :) I did drink all my water, so that's a good thing, right?

Friday, the girls are going to lunch at Carlos and Mickeys. And Taylor Hicks is coming to Freedom Crossing for an Outdoor Concert. I'm thinking about going and taking the kids, or maybe just going by myself with friends. Haven't made up my mind yet. What do you think? Should I go? Would it be worth it? I don't watch American Idol...
