I Will Remember You

Pretty relaxing day, and I'm SO glad. I needed it. hehe. My mom and dad and Eme got up at 3 something, and were gone by 3:30am, on their way to Ft. Hood. Or so I hear. hehe. I woke up at 6am to the trash truck, and a barking dog. I was afraid my dog got out, and was the one barking, so I snuck out of my room, through the house, and cracked open Jake's door to see if the dog was in there. He was, so I snuck back to my room, and crawled back into bed. And went back to sleep.

I woke up at 8:30am, and joined the family. They were watching TV and chilling. We had breakfast, and I was on my computer for a bit. The kids played in the pool for a while, and we just had a relaxing morning.

At 11ish, we made sure the kids were out of the pool, and situated in the house and having fun, and Aunt Sue and I headed out to Walmart with Terra. I needed pool supplies, and we needed a b-day present for Amanda's little boy, Austin.

I think I had too much fun in the toy section...

I absolutely LOVED this shirt! And it was cool in black/gray too!
If you're gonna have a white shirt, you shouldn't use yellow for padding in the boobie section...
After Walmart, we headed over to the North Eastside to have lunch at The Bagel Shop. LOVE that place. I had the 5th Avenue, on Whole Wheat, with extra lettuce and tomato, toasted. Oh yeah. It was SO good.

We ate and chatted, then Terra dropped us off at my house. And we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. And yeah, I'm totally gonna have to get the kids out of the house tomorrow. They're going stir crazy, I think. Tom and Joe especially are being naughty. Well, frisky, more than naughty. Like an animal that has been caged a little too long. hehe. You parents, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about....

We reheated some stuffed shells that Terra dropped off, and I made some garlic bread. And some steamed veggies. And we watched Pink Panther 2. And yeah, I'm SO done with kids. hehe. Jake needs to go and hang out at the youth center for a while. He's getting on my nerves a bit... Nothing too horribly wrong, just not listening or thinking that he doesn't have to obey. The blatant disrespect is getting tiring....

It's now 6:21pm, and I've kicked everyone off of electronics. Because of Jake's mouth. I'm not sure what we'll do the rest of the evening. Maybe I'll let Tom and Joe and Jim watch a movie in Tom's room later... We shall see...

We're going to the pool at 11 tomorrow with Liz. Should be a good time!

Thank you for the word art. It's beautiful and I have in mind using it for a tribute page to my departed feline friends.
