Old Age

Sunday was nice. The kids were relatively well behaved in Sacrament meeting (it's hard to keep 5 kids quite for an hour all by yourself), for which I was grateful. Jimmy wasn't even too bad. I guess it helped that we remembered paper and pencils. Last week, nothing. That wasn't fun :)

I filled in for a primary teacher who didn't show. I know how that is, looking for teachers last minute. I was glad to help. Those 5 year olds were adorable! We had fun learning about baptism, and promises, and what a "covenant" is. While they were so little, I think they understood :) It was a fun age group. All girls. 6 of them. hehehe.

After I finished reading Midnight (Twilight from Edwards perspective) last night, I decided to look online for a bit of fan fiction. They're kinda fun to read, if you can find a good one. Well, I found one that I really like. Granted, I haven't finished it yet. I may read some more after I'm done with this post. As of now, it's not too bad. I'm worried that there's gonna be inappropriateness, though. Why do people feel the need to ruin a perfectly good story. Sigh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If it turns out nice, I'll post a link to it. So far, though, so good. It supposed that when Bella meets Laurent in the woods in book 2, that he bites her, and turns into a Vampire, then leaves Forks to hide out for 80 years, and then runs into Edward. Interesting premise.

And, for all of you NOT obsessed with Twilight (or all you all obessed like me - hehehe), sorry about all the Twilight babbling. I find myself thinking about it FAR too often. hehehe.

My sweetheart called me last night. It'd been a few days since I got to chat with him. Busy, busy, busy, that boy is. He seemd in good spirits. They had a busy day planned for today, and it was seriously nasty weather there in Georgia. He was hoping that it would stop before they had to go out and do....um... yeah, I must have missed that part. Something outside that he didn't want to get all nasty in. Dang, I need to pay closer attention, I guess :)

So I'm gonna try harder on my diet this week. Really, I am this time. Last night, I ate what I should for dinner, and I felt really good all evening. It's amazing what the "right" kind of food will do for ya! I'm tired of feeling tired all the time. And drained of energy. Hopefully eating right will help. Couldn't hurt :) hehehe.

This WordArt request is from Toby. Ain't it the truth! Not that I'm in "old age", by any means, but once I hit 30, my body hasn't been the same - LOL! So, Toby, I hope you like it!!! Click on the links below to go to my accounts to download the PNG file, and leave some love if you like my work. Thanks!

I am so relating to this WA! I guess I might have to try reading Twilight again. I started it, didn't finish. Got frustrated with the teenage angst, I guess. LOL. That was a long time ago for me but oh I remember it well! My dd (15) love the books, and actually my just-turned-12 yo ds has read the first three and is waiting for Sarah to finish her reread of book 4 so he can read it. LOL. She conned him into watching the movie one night with her and he got hooked. I guess vampires are cool when you're 12 ... I do have to confess to being an Angel fan, but I was late to that (just this past year). Had to see David Boreanaz in Bones first. LOL.

You and everyone else talking about Twilight are responsible for me having watched the movie and read all the books, included Midnight Sun in the last 15 days. Shame on you!!! lol :) I've been reading about Twilight in several scrapbooking blogs and the film, and the last straw was Ikea Goddess talking about the books and the movie I believe at the beginning of April, so started to look information about the film, decide to watched it and after that it was nothing but reading the books, in less than two weeks, all of them.

I actually needed something light and easy to read, so I'm actually glad. And about what you say from the second book I don't know whether you are guessing that from what you have read, trying not ejem with the surprise or read something like somewhere else. But the second book it's a bit unexpected ;)

Hopefully you'll find them as enjoyable as many of us have and watch the following films in the cinema after reading the books, they are supposed to release the second film at the en of this year I believe and it's kinda better to watch the film after reading them. There is so much stuff they don't include in movie that helps you to understand the story.

If you are interested in more books by that author, I saw today in Goodreads that she has more books published in May last year, in more or less the same type of style, it's called The Host, a novel I know she has that information in her website, but I thought maybe you might want to check that website and see other books that you might like.

And yes I do agree that it's a pity that Midnight Sun is been postponed indefinitely. Edward is quite mesmerizing, lol

Enjoy your reading :)
