So my alarm either didn't go off this morning, or I just slept right through it. Either way, I didn't wake up until around 6:30am. So Jake totally missed Seminary. Sorry, Jake. I got up in time to see Tom off to the bus at 7am, and got the other kids ready for the bus. And walked them over to the bus stop.
I chatted with Rebecca for a few minutes, and invited her to come hiking with us at 1pm today. She said that she'd LOVE to come if she was done with her meeting by then. I said that I'd text her around that time and see how she was doing.
I did some chores after the kids got on the bus, and got the house a little bit cleaner than it was. Then changed clothes, and went to pick up the girls in the Suburban at 8:30am. Kari and I and Amanda and Kim were going to Savers. My favorite Monday routine. hehe. We headed over to the East side, and got our "shopping" on.
It was Green tag day today. I found a few things for the little boys, and a few skirts for myself. I got a skirt for Eme, a pair of Sunday slacks for Jake, and a nice sweater for Tom.
Check out this coat that Amanda found for $0.99. Um, yeah, isn't it lovely. hehehe :)
So, of course, we bought them. But then Veronica couldn't come. And Terra didn't wanna play. But Kari and Amanda and I dresses up. And we conned our other friend into wearing a dress 1/2 way through the night. hehe. Little did she know she'd be wearing a "sister wife" dress. hehe. We sure did get a good laugh out of it...
We paid, and headed out of the store. And donated some stuff for a coupon for next time. And I saw this cool antenna thingy on the car next to us, and took this picture for Jake. He was wanting to get an antenna thingy...
We went to the commissary, and I ran into a friend from 1st ward, Danielle, in the parking lot. Hadn't seen here in a while :)
We went inside, and of course I had to pose with some of the cardboard cut outs.
I ran back home, changed, put stuff away, cleaned out the car, and headed to Kari's house. Then got Rebecca, then went and got Kim. And over the mountain we went. We parked at the closest hiking trail, and off we went. I put my keys in Kari's backpack, and we hiked for about an hour. And it was SUCH a great hike. I just love El Paso. It's SUCH a beautiful area :)
We hiked, then headed back to the car. And I tried to fish my keys out of Kari's backpack, but yeah, the pouch that I put my keys in didn't have a bottom! Whaaaaat? Crap. They must have fallen out somewhere on the trail. Freak! Kim had to call her friend to go and get her kids. And Rebecca and I and Kari headed out on the trail again to look for the keys. Luckily, they weren't too far down the path. Still, we were a bit off pace.
We headed back to post, and dropped Kim off at Ft Bliss elementary and her car. Her friend was there with her kids. And we headed to our bus stop. Our bus had JUST let off our kids, so we'd just made it. And we headed home.
I switched up the chores a little bit, so we worked on them for a bit. Then had a little bit of free time. We started dinner around 5pm, and were ready for trick or treating by 6pm.
Kari and kids stopped by our house at 6pm, and then we walked over to Amanda's house. We got some funny looks on the way, too. I thought it was SO funny :) If not sister wives, then we looked Amish. ROFL! Poor Brian. Look at the expression on his face. hehe.

It's now 9:45pm. I'm SO ready for bed. I've ate my fill of Halloween chocolates. I'm so done. hehe. I'm done blogging. I'm done watching Warehouse 13. I'm sleepy. And exercised out. I have a therapy appointment tomorrow. Not sure what else is going on tomorrow. Library after school. And yoga....
