That'll Be The Day

Morning, all! It's a good thing I took a sleeping pill last night, cause I wouldn't be getting any sleep otherwise - hehe. I couldn't lay on my stomach, the way I usually sleep, because of the sunburn, and I was covered in dried Mylanta. Yeah, if it had been real Mylanta, it might have worked better. I know we had some green aloe vera sunburn cream somewhere in the house, but I can't seem to find it. And the shoppette was out of it last night when I went to get Jake from the movies. Sigh.

Anyway, woke up, got the kids ready for church, showered (OUCH!!!!!), and put on some clothes. Something that wouldn't show the fact that I couldn't wear a bra. hehe.

Eme came in, looking SUPER cute, and I had to snap a picture of her.

I tried to get Jake up and ready for church, but he didn't wake up, and kept saying he was tired. OK, if you skip church, you're grounded for 2 days... I wasn't gonna let it ruin my Sunday. So the rest of us got ready and headed out the door.

I made it through most of Sacrament before the 44 oz of water I'd chugged in the morning just HAD to come out. hehe. I snapped a quick photo of myself. See, clothes. I'm tough. hehe.

Church was good. Relief Society was a lesson about the dangers of Pornography. Great lesson by Sister Otherson. After church, the kids and I loaded up, and headed home. Yeah, Jake was still asleep when we got home. But because we're so loud, he was quickly up.

I shed most of my clothes, and managed to keep this on. Poor me. SPF 0 is SO not my friend. SPF 50 is my new BFF! That's for sure...

I think it was the sunburn, but I was sleepy and not feeling well all day. I napped a bit, and watched some shows. Jake called Aunt Sue on the Video Phone, and my mom and dad and Grandma Ida joined in on a 3 way call later. The kids had a BLAST talking with family. I talked with them for about 30 minutes out of the 2 hour conversation. Jake really had fun talking to them. See, being grounded from all other fun things has it advantages. hehe.

We cooked up some steak on the grill around 6pm (which the kids LOVED), and the kids did their chores a few times during the day. I put the kids to bed around 8pm, and headed to Terra's house to make some photocopies of the kids' physicals. Apparently they needed a copy with them.

I watched a few episodes of 24, then decided that I should blog. It's not 10:46pm, and I think I have time to squeeze one more in. hehe. The only thing that needs done for the kids' and camp is to find flashlights for them. I can do that in the morning.

My friend from the retreat, Virginia, is dropping her daughter off at our house around 7:30am, and we're taking her to the Camp dropoff location. We're planning on being there at 10am. And the bus leaves at noon, I think. Should be a fun morning.

Then, we're having a picnic at Biggs waterpark at 1, and all bringing different sandwiches to share. Should be a good time!

OUCH! That looks really sore. I have had some horrible burns like that and I agree, bras are a no-no and sleeping is impossible. Then comes the peeling. Thank you for this WordArt.
