Bouncy Castle Fun

Hey girlies :) Welcome to the weekend! I'm definitely going to bed early-ish tonight :) No more 2am bedtime for me, or I'm gonna DIE next week. hehe.

So I woke up a little after 7am, ate my yogurt, then totally went back to bed. The kids were playing nicely and I was still sleepy.

Captain America woke up around 9am, ate breakfast, and went back to bed too. hehe. At 10:30am, I finally crawled out of bed, had a snack, and went jogging. It was only 20-30 minutes long, but it WAS exercise, right?

But by the time I got back and got organized, I'd ran out of time to take a shower before the b-day party we were going to. Crap. Oh well. I pulled my hair back in a ponytail, threw on some clothes, washed off the old makeup, and put on some new. I looked better - hehe.

And a little after noon, the whole family headed over to Terra's house. Her twins were having a b-day party! They're 2 :) She'd rented a giant slide and a bouncy castle, had a TON of food planned, and wanted us to come! And we SO wanted to come. hehe.

Captain America got to talk Civil War with her hubby, and my kids had a BLAST on the castle stuff. And I got to chat with the girls :)

It was an Olivia (the pig) party, so here's me sporting my Olivia Party Hat. hehe

And then I convinced Laurie that it would be fun to go on the slide. ROFL! She said she'd go if I went first. You're on! As long as she would take a picture of me. hehe. So here I went.

And yeah, it was SO much harder than the kids made it look. I kept slipping on those stairs. And the kids kept attacking me - ROFL!

I felt at the top, and here I am, foot in the air, trying to get off the slide - hehe

And then when I got to the bottom, they all dog piled on me. Yeah, someone had to pull me off because Jimmy wouldn't get off of me. ha! It was pretty funny.

And then it was Laurie's turn!

It was pretty fun. We ate some food, had a good time visiting, and left about an hour later than we'd planned because we were having so much fun. 12-3pm. It was a great time.

Tom on the Bouncy Slide

Here's me, wondering what possessed me to go on the bouncy slide. ha!
We came home, and we all started on our own projects. Captain America wanted to fix the seat in the suburban, I wanted to design for a while, and the kids wanted some electronics time. We had everyone do chores first, then got on with what we were wanting to do.

I designed a few WordArt packs, and around 5pm, we had dinner. I brought part of the GIANT sandwich home from Terra's house, so the kids had that for dinner. And I had a cheese sandwich and cucumbers, and Captain America had soup. And then we watched part of a movie, and then I went and took a HOT bath. A little too hot, because it wasn't as comfortable and relaxing as it should have been. hehehe.

And then I came back out, and started blogging. It's not 7:01pm, and I'm done on the computer. I'm feeling quite sleepy. Not sure what time I'm gonna go to bed, but I sure hope it's gonna be early.

And yeah, this is NOT a faithbooking WordArt. I'm sorry. I designed it, and then realized what I did. But yeah, I don't wanna design something else. hehe. So this is what you get :)

What a fun day! Thanks so much for the cute word art. We just took my granddaughter to a fall carnival and I have some shots of her in a bouncy castle, so this is perfect for when I get around to scrapping those.

Looks like a lot of fun. Your kids will remember you joining in the fun with them that's for sure. I wanted to thank you for sharing a bit of your life. I read your post where you mentioned the peppermint tea and I had to try it. I finally had the chance to get to the store and I found it. You are right it is wonderful. I have been enjoying sipping it all day today. Thanks again!
